It isn't always necessary to remove your dentures at night, but doing so can allow your gums to rest as you sleep. If you remove your dentures, they should be kept moist – for example, in water or a polythene bag with some dampened cotton wool in it, or in a suitable overnight denture-cleaning solution.

Brush your dentures at least daily.
Soak and brush them with a soft-bristled brush and nonabrasive denture cleanser to remove food, plaque and other deposits. If you use denture adhesive, clean the grooves that fit against your gums to remove any remaining adhesive. Don't use denture cleansers inside your mouth.
Post-Extractions
Roughly two months after undergoing tooth extractions, you may begin to feel as though your immediate dentures are loose or ill fitting. This is NORMAL.
Even if you've been living with partial dentures for a while, they can become uncomfortable over time as your mouth structure naturally changes. The bone and gum ridges may get smaller or recede, making your normally comfortable partials painful. Getting an adjustment from your dentist should help fix this problem.
On the day of extraction, a general dentist will extract any necessary teeth from a patient. Next, the dentist will insert the temporary dentures and check their fit. These dentures will be what the patient wears until a permanent set is ready.
