Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains what information Calendar-Australia.com ("we", "us") and its partners collect when you use this website, why, and what choices you have. You can use the calendars without creating an account.

Information we collect

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record technical details of each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. We use these logs to run and protect the site.
  • Calendar preferences. A session cookie remembers display choices during your visit, such as your first day of the week and which holidays to show.
  • Usage counts. We count how often calendars are printed or linked. Any identifier used to limit abuse of these counters is stored in hashed form.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us or send us a request through a form, we receive your name, email address and message, and use them to deal with your request.

We do not ask for sensitive information, and we do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them, and allow our advertising partners to use them, for these purposes:

  • Essential: keeping the site working and remembering your display choices.
  • Consent: remembering your privacy choices.
  • Advertising: showing ads, limiting how often you see them, measuring their performance and, where permitted, personalising them.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, although some preferences will not be remembered.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits.

Your consent choices

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Privacy settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Service providers

We use service providers to run this website, including hosting and Cloudflare for security and delivery. Some pages may include embedded content, such as videos from YouTube, and the provider of that content may set its own cookies. These companies may process information in countries outside your own, including outside Australia.

How long we keep information

We keep server logs for a limited period, normally a few weeks, unless we need them longer to investigate a security problem. We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request. The session cookie ends when your browser session ends.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Australian Privacy Principles and the GDPR, you may have the right to access or correct your personal information, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. To use these rights, email us at the address below. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local privacy regulator, which in Australia is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

This site is a general audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
