There's no single "most skillful" Jedi, as it depends on criteria, but Yoda is often cited for unmatched Force connection, wisdom, and combat skill across eras, while Luke Skywalker is seen as potentially reaching the highest potential, and Mace Windu as a top duelist, especially against Sith, making them top contenders for skill and power.
Here are our top picks for the most powerful Jedi in the Star Wars universe.
Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano is the strongest Star Wars character. She is a focused, cunning, and capable warrior. Wielding two sabers, she illustrates highly developed martial arts and acrobatic skills.
Yoda was the oldest grand master to ever live. He fought many battles and trained incredible Jedi, AND led the Jedi for 800+ years of relative peace from the Sith. His failure in the clone wars and clouded/traditional way of life was a major tragedy. He made a lot of mistakes with Anakin and the republic in general.
Yoda's Role as a Teacher and Mentor
As the Jedi Order's greatest mentor, he trained generations of Jedi, ensuring their values endured through peace and war alike. Over his 900 years, Yoda trained countless Padawans, including Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Luke Skywalker.
I genuinely believe ahsoka was one of yoda's favourite Jedi ever!!!
One of the most controversial and divisive characters in the Star Wars saga, Jar Jar Binks is often cited as the weakest Jedi of all time.
Yoda was a legendary Jedi Master and stronger than most in his connection with the Force. Small in size but wise and powerful, he trained Jedi for over 800 years, playing integral roles in the Clone Wars, the instruction of Luke Skywalker, and unlocking the path to immortality.
The Lost Twenty, also known as the The Lost, was a name given to the group of twenty Jedi Masters who left the Jedi Order throughout its history. According to Yula Braylon of the Jedi High Council, the Lost Twenty became disillusioned with the Jedi way of life.
In Legends, probably the most unusual species to join the Jedi were the Iron Knights - a silicon based species that looked like shards of crystal. To function in galactic society and as Jedi, they used modified droids to serve as humanoid bodies.
Despite being the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker was not the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars, as that honor goes to Ahsoka Tano. The Star Wars prequel trilogy focused on Anakin's desire to become the most powerful Jedi, and while he became very strong in the Force, his lust for power drove him to the dark side.
Best Jedi Ever
By Lucas's own admission from back in 2005 (Vanity Fair Interview) Grandmaster Luke is twice as powerful as Sidious was at the peak of his power. Sidious in ROTS, so, before he even reached that peak, was already powerful enough to beat Yoda, who sits on top of the power scale on the council.
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Mitth'raw'nuruodo, better known as Thrawn, is probably one of the most infamous non-Force users in the Star Wars saga. His talents and abilities allow him to rise through the ranks of the xenophobic Imperial military to become their highest ranking officer.
Haja Estree posed as a Jedi. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the human male Haja Estree resided on the planet Daiyu, working as a con artist.
According to wookieepedia , special contingency order 37 was: Capture of a single wanted individual through the mass arrest and threatened execution of a civilian population . Follow-up directives include scenarios for body disposal of civilian casualties and suppression of communications.
10 Most Powerful Jedi Characters Ranked
Darth Maul is the weakest. Bane was strong : he killed all the Sith and lots of Jedi.
When comparing Darth Vader's Jedi kill count to other Sith Lords like Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, or Count Dooku, Vader arguably holds the highest body count. While Sidious orchestrated the Jedi Purge, it was Vader who became the primary executor on the ground, relentlessly hunting Jedi for over two decades.
During one of these missions she would break the Jedi Code's rule of attachment by falling in love with Darman, RC-1136, a clone commando in Omega Squad, and becoming pregnant with his child, Venku Skirata. The two would later marry in the traditional Mandalorian way shortly before her death in 19 BBY.
Darth Vectivus. He basically got all the power he wanted and then retired to live with his family and friends and died peacefully, none of the Sith backstabbing. Vergere is potentially another (although I'm still pissed at the retcon of her being Sith).
