Outlander: Murtagh and Jocasta are season 5's big love story.
Even though he got to have Jamie, he got a godson out of it, he's never even had a marriage or a relationship.
Jocasta, her husband and youngest daughter, Morna, fled to the coast after she could not convince her husband to go and help her two older children and their families. On the way to the coast, they were stopped by the English and during the attack Hector accidentally shot Morna; Jocasta never forgave him for her death.

Book fans will remember that Jocasta ultimately ends up marrying Duncan Innes, in order to protect her estate, and she hints at this in bed with Murtagh in the moments after their reunion.
Murtagh Was In Love With Ellen MacKenzie Fraser
Murtagh was in love with Jamie's mother, Ellen, who picked Brian Fraser over him. In season 1, Murtagh tells Claire that he had worshipped Ellen as a young man and even executed impossible hunts to impress her.
