Godzilla doesn't have traditional biological parents; he's typically portrayed as an ancient creature awakened or mutated by nuclear radiation, though some lore gives him a father figure, Dagon, in specific comics or fan canons, and a mother figure, Majira, in a Gameboy game; the original Godzilla's "family" was killed by the bomb, leading to his creation as a vengeful force.
Dagon, also known to the Japanese as Raijin (雷神 Raijin), was a Titan who appeared in Godzilla: Lord of the Galaxy. He is the father of Godzilla and partner of Rozan. Dagon was an ancient Titan awakened in 1954 during nuclear tests.
First appearance
Majira (マジラ?) is Godzilla's mother and a character in the Japanese version of the 1990 Gameboy game, Gojira-kun: Kaijū Daikōshin.
Shōwa era (1967–1969)
In his debut film, Son of Godzilla, Minilla was born on Sollgel Island, when his egg was prematurely cracked open by a group of mutant giant mantises called Kamacuras.
It is theorized that Shimo is a former Alpha Titan, and based on ice analysis, Shimo may have aided Godzilla in freezing and imprisoning Ghidorah in Antarctica. Cave paintings also suggest that she fought Godzilla in the past, though how he managed to handle her remains unclear.
Gojirin is the fourth female member of Godzilla's species to appear in the Godzilla franchise, after Bijira and Majira, who appeared in the Japanese release of the 1990 Gameboy Godzilla game titled Gojira-kun: Kaijū Daikōshin, and Rozan, the mother Space Godzilla in the short story A Space Godzilla.
Regenerative Durability. In the movie, Godzilla's regenerative ability proved to be very potent that any pieces of his flesh that broke off his body grew into starfish-like creatures. This enables him to reproduce asexually through either fission or even self-mutilation.
Godzilla and Komodithrax appear to be a couple… and there's a giant egg in their nest. Nick discovered that Godzilla and Komodithrax were actually mates, and that Godzilla was acting as the father to Komodithrax's unhatched egg.
However, he's only actually died in four of them. True to his title, Godzilla typically prevails in most of his fights - even when he's the main villain. Kaiju as powerful as King Ghidorah, Biollante, and Gigan have all failed to bring him down, but not for a lack of trying.
Anguirus was reintroduced in Destroy All Monsters as an ally and best friend of Godzilla living with him on Monsterland, a role that Anguirus maintained throughout Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972), Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973), and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974).
The name Godzilla is a romanization of the original Japanese name Gojira (ゴジラ)—which is a combination of two Japanese words: gorira (ゴリラ), "gorilla", and kujira (クジラ), "whale". The word alludes to the size, power and aquatic origin of Godzilla.
Godzilla began life as a symbol of the horrific destruction caused by the atomic bombs dropped on Japan in 1945. It's Godzilla season again with last weekend's worldwide theatrical release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
King Ghidorah, and even more so in GMK: Giant Monsters All-out Attack. Even in those two movies, Ghidorah was still a formidable opponent, and the other films have sealed Ghidorah's place in history as Godzilla's greatest foe.
Kong's Father was a male member of the Titanus Kong superspecies, and thus was similar in appearance to Kong, though with a few unique differences; his fur was dark brown in color, instead of reddish-brown like Kong; Additionally, he, like his son, was covered in numerous scars, but his were more severe.
To him , Kong is just another Titan for him to put in their place . Godzilla is the protector of Earth, regardless of humans, he will protect his planet even if it means stomping on whatever and whoever is a threat for it. Kong, on the other hand, is the protector of the humans.
Godzilla (ゴジラ, Gojira?) is an irradiated reptilian daikaiju created by Toho that makes its first appearance in the 1954 Showa Godzilla film, Godzilla, as the film's titular main antagonist.
Personality. This incarnation of Godzilla harboured a very strong grudge toward humanity for their nuclear tests which irradiated him in the first place not unlike the original iteration of the character, though his case is much worse as he was already hostile towards humans prior to his mutation.
Monsterverse King Ghidorah is the first Pure Evil to come from a speculative biology-themed work since the MonsterVerse era in general is more heavily focused on the biology and behavior of Kaiju species than any other era in the Godzilla franchise, and works in the spec biology genre tend to lack any clear villains, ...
Godzilla has a deep hatred for King Ghidorah, specifically because King Ghidorah caused immense chaos and destruction on Earth.
However, the loose portrayal of this aspect tends to lead to ambiguity. One source of confusion is the 1998 American Godzilla film, where the titular monster laid eggs asexually. While it too is officially classified as male despite this ability, this trait suggests it is most likely asexual or hermaphroditic.
Kong was the last of his kind. He was portrayed in the film as being quite old, with graying fur and battle-worn with scars, wounds, and a crooked jaw from his many fights against rival creatures. He is the dominant being on the island, the king of his world.
During the production of the 1998 film, special effects artist Patrick Tatopoulos was contacted by director Roland Emmerich and asked to create a new design for the Godzilla character. According to Tatopoulos, the only specific instructions Emmerich gave him was that it should be able to run incredibly fast.
