Verse 2:222 in the Quran implies that relations during menstruation are prohibited. But it does not mention forbidding prayers, however it is mentioned in the hadith which states that women should not pray during menstruation and that they don't have to make up for the missed prayers during this period.
In addition to Judaism and Christianity, Islam also forbids men to have vaginal sexual intercourse with their wives during menstruation (Surah al-Baqarah 2:222).
Scholars of fiqh agree that someone who is not purified CANNOT touch the Quran because Allah says in the Quran “None shall touch it except the purified” (Waqiah: 79). This includes the junub (sexually impure), the menstruating woman, as well as someone without wudhu.

People need to know that menstrual blood is not impure. Just like blood from any other part of the body, once out, this blood too starts decomposing and thus emanates an odor. During periods women are at greater risk of urinary tract infections due to dampness.
Will a person who dies while on their period continue to menstruate after death? The answer is no. At least, not for long after death. When someone dies, their blood stops circulating throughout their body — you probably knew that already.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast between sunrise and sunset, not consuming food or drink. However, when a woman is menstruating she cannot fast. But despite this, some women feel they cannot be open about their periods with male members of their family.

During fasting, biting your nails is not allowed in Islam. Only biting your does not break your fast. But it is advisable to refrain from biting also. But eating the nail during fasting will break the fast.

Pubic Hair & Shaving for Women
The Sunnah is to remove pubic hair with a razor and to pluck armpit hair with a tweezer (ouch), but most scholars agree that what matters is removing it, so other depilatory substances are permissible.
So, if waxing the private parts is done by anyone other than the lawfully married partner, it shall be definitely considered as sinful and therefore haram; so never even contemplate such an activity. All safe methods to remove unwanted hair from the body are permissible in Islam.
They should not shave and trim their nails when they are in such states and prefer to do them after making ghusl. However, if they do them before ghusl, their ghusl is valid. There is no need to have doubts about it. Women had better shave and trim their nails before their menstruation period or puerperium.

Because the bleeding is light and not constant, a woman who sees spotting should be able to wipe away the blood, wash her front private part, make wudu, and pray the obligatory prayer of the time without any bleeding exiting.
