God's closeness is described differently across faiths but generally means being intimately present, closer than our own breath, within creation, and available through seeking, prayer, and spiritual transformation, emphasizing an internal presence (Holy Spirit in Christianity) rather than a distant watchfulness. For many, God is as near as our heart and thoughts, actively involved in daily life and sustaining the universe.
The list goes on! Jeremiah 29:13 reminds us that when we seek him, we find him, when we seek him with all of our heart! He is not far away at any given moment. His spirit dwells within a child of God. God says he will dwell in us and walk among us; and he will be our God, and we shall be his people.
The Omnipresence of God
One of the ways we are reminded of His presence with us is through the beauty of His creation. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork” (Psalm 19:1). In this way, God is even present with those who have not put their faith in Him.
We know that Jesus said we won't be married in heaven. But that does not mean we won't have rich, meaningful, intimate relationship with each other in heaven. Certainly we will.
If you put your faith in Jesus you can be “100%” sure you are of going to heaven someday, not because you said a prayer, but because you put your faith in Jesus! Now share that good news with everyone you can!
Church teaching says nothing about the time of 3 a.m. However, in popular culture it has become known as the “devil's hour.” This is because Gospel tradition reports that Jesus died at 3 p.m., and so—because the devil likes to mock God—the inverse hour of 3 a.m. is considered the time the devil chooses to manifest most ...
Then I heard the number of the sealed; 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel, 12, 000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000 ...
The joy of shared usefulness among couples in heaven filters directly down into the pleasure and delight of love-making. So sex does exist in heaven, but it won't result in children. Instead, there are spiritual offspring. Even though there's no reproduction in heaven, you can still have kids.
Do they see you cry those tears? The answer to that question is yes. Your loved ones absolutely see your tears upon your face.
While some people say that in Heaven we will no longer be male or female, the Bible doesn't say that. When people saw Jesus in His resurrection body, they knew He was still a man. Likewise, in the final Resurrection, women will be women and men will be men.
In the Bible God gets angry at human violence. He gets angry at powerful leaders who oppress other humans. And the thing that makes God more angry than anything else in the Bible is Israel's constant covenant betrayal.
Pray from 3am to 5am the hour of the devine encounters 1. God will give you a revelation about your life 2. Command your day. Command your money.
777 is considered the number of God (or divine perfection) in Christian and biblical traditions because it's a powerful emphasis of the number 7, symbolizing divine completeness, perfection, and holiness, often linked to the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and representing the perfect fulfillment of God's work, contrasting with the imperfection of 666 (Beast). While not explicitly named as God's number, its symbolism stems from the pervasive use of '7' for perfection in the Bible, like creation in seven days, with 777 being a triple reinforcement of this divine attribute.
In general, God doesn't, and won't, tell us who to marry. We don't see in Scripture that it would be disobedient not to marry any one particular individual. There is no command in the Bible that says, “You must get married.” And there is certainly no command, “Greg must marry Susan.”
The number 444 in relation to Jesus often signifies divine confirmation, spiritual protection, or a call to action, linking to themes like creation (number 4) and the Trinity (number 3), with interpretations pointing to God's presence, encouragement for spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of His purposes, seen by some as a sign of God's attention or a cycle of change. While not a direct, explicit code in the Bible, many believers connect the repetition of '4' (representing creation, the world, or stability) to Jesus's ministry and God's enduring truth, especially in angel number<>/nav>> and prophetic contexts.
The hardest deaths to grieve often involve a child, a spouse/life partner, or a loss due to suicide or homicide, as these challenge fundamental beliefs about life's order, shatter primary support systems, or add layers of trauma, guilt, and unanswered questions, leading to potentially complicated grief. However, grief is deeply personal, and the "hardest" loss is ultimately the one that feels most significant to the individual.
Some people report smelling recognisable scents months after a loved one has passed, like their perfume or fabric softener. Others report the presence of unusual smells, like certain flowers or cigarettes. These scents have long been perceived as a message being sent from the deceased, reminding you that they're there.
The stages of death include: Pallor mortis: The main change that occurs is increased paleness because of the suspension of blood circulation. This is the first sign and occurs quickly, within 15-30 minutes of death.
In new un-sinful bodies and becoming more like Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), we will love in heaven more than we ever loved on earth. You will live with your beloved husband or wife forever in heaven. The two of you will continue to grow together in love, understanding, happiness, and joy to all eternity.
And when Jesus returns, we receive brand new bodies that are perfect. With our new bodies, we will do all kinds of things that are very similar to what we did on earth. This includes eating and drinking. So, we know that heaven is a real place that will be physical.
Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live! Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live.
The Bible tells us there will be a vast number of people in heaven — so many that no one could count them (see Revelation 7:9). The Bible tells us many truths about heaven — but the most important is that heaven is the place where God is. In other words, in heaven we will be in God's presence forever.
Further, God's name will be on His servants' foreheads. This might be a poetic reference, or a literal physical seal. God's "name" stands for His character and His ownership of His servants.
"Chaste," "virgins" (ESV, NRSV, KJV), "they kept themselves pure" (NIV) translates the Greek word for "virgins."73 This probably refers to either those who refrained from physical adultery or sexual immorality (see the temptations in the churches of Pergamum and Thyatira in Revelation 2), or spiritual adultery, those ...
