Peeing out crystals means minerals in your urine, like calcium, oxalate, or uric acid, have clumped together to form solid structures, often due to dehydration, a diet high in salt/protein/oxalate-rich foods, certain medications, UTIs, or underlying conditions, which can form kidney or bladder stones and sometimes cause pain, cloudy urine, or frequent urination, but a doctor should check it out to rule out serious issues.
Certain minerals in your urine may clump together with other substances and form solid crystals. This usually happens if your urine contains high levels of those minerals or has too much or too little acid. Having a few small crystals in your urine is normal, and they usually don't cause problems.
Furthermore, studies have shown that crystals in urine are more in diabetics than in nondiabetics. These prove that there is a link between T2DM and the formation of crystals, and this can be capitalized on in diagnosis and management of the condition and its ramifications.
The presence of crystals in the urine is not always pathognomic for an abnormal metabolic or renal condition, as uric acid, calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate (CaP), and drug-induced crystals can also be observed under normal physiological conditions.
Management and Treatment
In many cases, you may just need to drink more water or cut back on your consumption of certain foods or things found in foods, like salt and sugar. If the crystals are a result of taking certain medication, your healthcare provider might be able to switch your medication or dosage.

Urine glucose testing involves checking the color of a test strip to see if your glucose is too high. Depending on the results, you may have blood sugar problems that need more testing or management.
