The four most powerful members of the Jedi High Council during the Clone Wars period were Yoda, and three of his students: Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ki-Adi-Mundi. While Mace and Obi-Wan are known to even casual fans, Ki-Adi-Mundi should not be underestimated.
Yoda trained many Jedi throughout his life, but his most notable apprentice was Luke Skywalker.
According to Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need To Know, Yoda trained approximately 20,000 Jedi after reaching the rank of Master. Although it's a very impressive number, it's important to keep in mind that Yoda lived for 900 years, and became Master around the age of 100.
The Grand Master's apprentice
At one time, Dooku was the Padawan of Yoda, the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. In 86 BBY, Dooku later completed his Initiate Trials and hoped to be selected as the Padawan apprentice to Lene Kostana due to her mission in hunting down relics associated with the dark side.
Billaba became Windu's Padawan and trained under the Jedi Master in the ways of the Force. During her training, Windu allowed her to study Form VII variant known as Vaapad. She eventually became a Jedi Knight, renowned for her skills with a lightsaber and favored Form III when teaching other Jedi.
While visiting the planet Dathomir, Palpatine chose the child of Mother Talzin, a Zabrak Nightbrother named Maul, to be the one he would train as his student.
Jedi Master Yoda is the most powerful of them all. This should come as no surprise, as he was the head of the Jedi Order in the prequels and was revered for his abilities during the original trilogy. Yoda's power is unmatched and was a real threat to Darth Vader and the Imperials.

Mission to Mathas. Padawan Windu was trained in the ways of the Force by Jedi Master Cyslin Myr. Following his early trials as a youngling, Windu attained the status of Padawan by becoming Jedi Master Cyslin Myr's apprentice.
Neither lightsabers nor the Force could help Yoda defeat Darth Sidious. Though Yoda was able to keep his adversary on his toes, he was unable to end the conflict, and their duel ended with no clear victor.
Vernestra, Mirialan, was Padawan to Stellan Gios. She works hard and is devoted to the Jedi Order, more so than most others her age. At sixteen she is one of the youngest Knights in a generation.
Who was Qui-Gon Jinn's Master? Qui-Gon Jinn's Master was Count Dooku. The relationship between Dooku and his Padawan was largely built on respect, though Jinn often found it difficult to get a read on his Master.
Arguably, some of the rarest types of Jedi were the so-called Iron Knights. These are members of the Shards species - crystals with a brain of their own. They were Force-sensitive and all trained under the tutelage of Jedi Master Aqinos. The Shards had droid bodies, similar to that of General Grievous.
The clear answer for the smartest Jedi of them all is Master Yoda. This mysterious but beloved character comes from a species about which very little is known, and has survived through many eras, stretching back to the High Republic.

Galen Marek, codenamed Starkiller, was the son of a Jedi fugitive killed by Vader during the Great Jedi Purge. After his father's death, he was trained by Vader since childhood to become the Sith Lord's secret apprentice.
Mace Windu may seem like an out-of-left-field pick for a list of characters stronger than Yoda, but he was a Jedi council member of equal ranking to the little green Jedi of unknown origin.
