Yoda held the title of Grand Master of the Jedi Order since the days of the High Republic Era. At some point, Yoda took on a human named Kantam Sy as his Padawan. The two were stationed at the Jedi Temple on the planet Endovar.
In his first appearance in the original trilogy, Yoda is described as the mentor of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and lives in exile on the swamp planet of Dagobah. He trains Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force until his death at the age of 900 in Return of the Jedi, though he later returns as a Force spirit.

A shoutout also deserves to go out to Obi-Wan and Luke, but Yoda and Luke are the true master and apprentice duo, and the two training is one of the highlights of the original trilogy.
According to Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need To Know, Yoda trained approximately 20,000 Jedi after reaching the rank of Master. Although it's a very impressive number, it's important to keep in mind that Yoda lived for 900 years, and became Master around the age of 100.
Grogu, colloquially referred to as Baby Yoda, is a character from the Star Wars Disney+ original television series The Mandalorian. He is a toddler member of the same species as the Star Wars characters Yoda and Yaddle, with whom he shares a strong ability in the Force.
Grogu will likely never become a real Jedi. After being given an impossible choice by Luke Skywalker in Boba Fett Episode 6, Grogu chooses to leave Yoda's lightsaber behind and join his surrogate father Mando (aka Din Djarin) once again.

Like all in the Order, the young Korun boy was taught by Grand Master Yoda when he was a learner, and eventually went on to become a Padawan to another Jedi. At one point during his apprenticeship, Windu trained under Master T'ra Saa.
Dooku voluntarily left the light side behind and became Darth Sidious' dark side disciple, taking the secret name Darth Tyranus and leading the Separatist army.
When Obi-Wan tells Yoda that Luke is their “last hope,” Yoda says, “No. There is another.” While the events of Return of the Jedi suggest this “other” person was Leia, it's also possible Yoda was referring to Rey.
Born in 102 BBY during the High Republic Era, Dooku was taken by the Jedi Order after being abandoned by his family and learned the Jedi arts as the Padawan of Yoda, the legendary Grand Master of the Jedi Order.
Yoda confronted Sidious in the heart of the Senate chambers. This erupted into an intense duel between these masters of the Force, a fight that Yoda ultimately lost and was forced to flee. With the Galactic Empire triumphant, Yoda and Obi-Wan were the last of the Jedi.

A Sith Lord with the ability to prevent death and create life, Plagueis is the mentor of Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious, who, in accordance to the Sith's Rule of Two, eventually betrays Plagueis by murdering him in his sleep, taking his place as Sith Master.
As Anakin's powers grew, Mace Windu's respect for Anakin grew, but his trust never did.
In 2017, Marvel released Star Wars: Darth Maul, a 5-issue prequel series centered on Maul before the events of The Phantom Menace. The comic details upon Maul's training under Darth Sidious, and how he was manipulated into hating the Jedi for leading the Sith to near-extinction.

Qui-Gon Jinn's Apprentice was Obi-Wan Kenobi. While Jinn and Kenobi had a great deal of respect and care for one another, their differences in ideology created a tension between them.
Mace Windu and Sheev Palpatine
But this rivalry was frustrating for many reasons. In true Samuel L. Jackson form, Mace Windu's character was never timid with his skepticism or disapprovals when it came to both the Senate and Anakin becoming a Jedi.
While the Shaman of the Whills was not there to carry on his teachings, Qui-Gon was able to pass on his knowledge of immortality to Master Yoda. He instructed Yoda to meet with the five Force Priestesses: Serenity, Joy, Anger, Confusion, and Sadness.
Fighting Emperor Palpatine
Though Yoda was able to keep his adversary on his toes, he was unable to end the conflict, and their duel ended with no clear victor.
Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, a mentor to the young Jedi, claimed that the dark side was a pathway to this ability: he could stop people from dying with Sith power. At the same time, the Chancellor revealed that he himself was a Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, and would train Anakin.
