In Marvel, characters like Scarlet Witch, with her reality-warping chaos magic and experience, Doctor Strange (Sorcerer Supreme), who commands vast cosmic and mystical knowledge, and cosmic powerhouses like Silver Surfer or Captain Marvel (especially with cosmic power-ups) could likely beat Raven, alongside reality-enders like Franklin Richards or cosmic entities such as Eternity/Infinity, due to their greater power, experience, or reality-bending abilities that surpass Raven's demonic empathy and soul-based magic, though a fight would depend heavily on emotional states and who strikes first.
The Titans could defeat Raven only because of the help they received from Phantasm.
In the comics, Raven is a huge threat to Wanda, but even so, Scarlet Witch would win since Chaos Magic is the most powerful type of magic in both Marvel and DC. Chaos Magic is so powerful that it can alter the functioning of other inferior types of magic, such as dark and demonic magic.
Her connection to Trigon creates a spiritual firewall that not even the Infinity Stones can breach. Raven doesn't win by overpowering Thanos. She wins by existing on a layer Thanos cannot touch. This isn't a fair fight.
Raven uses her White Cloak and became invincible, she uppercuts Superman and uses her final spell, opening up a portal sending him to a dark and evil world, where he won't survive, and never seeing the day of light again.
The One-Above-All
With the power to make or unmake anything, reverse, speed up, stop time, and reshape reality instantaneously, it's impossible to comprehend what or who The One-Above-All is. The One-Above-All is the most powerful character in the Marvel Universe.
CURRENT RAVEN has the power of The Spectre! The current proves once more that Raven is beyond the divine sword - the same sword that killed Mr. Mxy in DCeased Storyline. She oneshotted Spectre after toying with her brothers and turning them into stone.
Superman is afraid of Martian Manhunter because of his abilities.
Upon the return of Apocalypse, Gambit submitted himself to the villain and was transformed into one of Apocalypse's Horsemen, Death.
Raven can overpower Strange, but Strange will out think her and will ultimately win by intelligence/cunning over raw power. Facing and overcoming mystical threats magnitudes more powerful than Strange is what he is all about. A bit like Jon Constantine in the DC universe.
Scarlet Witch was by far the most powerful MCU Phase 4 character, yet Wanda could not beat Thanos in either Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame.
Raven's main weakness is letting go of her emotions, especially rage. Terra learned it from Beast Boy and took advantage of it in Aftershock - Part 1 to using it to finish her off. Even though her rage seems powerful, it could potentially corrupt her, leaving her very vulnerable to attacks with more power than her own.
Darkseid is DC's biggest recurring villain, but even he fears his father Yuga Khan, the most powerful of the beings known as the New Gods.
Not only did this unleash Malchior in his true form from the book, but also broke Raven's heart since he was only manipulating Raven into releasing him. She managed to trap him in the book once again, but was now more lonely than ever.
Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor (/ˈluːθɔːr, -θər/) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, the character first appeared in Action Comics #23 (April 1940). He has since endured as the archenemy of Superman.
Zur presents an existential threat that Bruce alone can never reconcile: the anxiety that his "best self" isn't real and that "Bruce Wayne" is just a smokescreen for the ruthless and destructive force he knows he can become. Zur-En-Arrh is Batman's greatest fear - more than a clown could ever be.
Pretty close, but Hulk takes this with a smash... Superman casually punches much harder, and no, scaling doesn't apply here. When has Hulk ever damaged reality with his punch or generated enough energy in his fist to destroy multiverses, because Superman has done both.
Soul-Self Projection: Raven can project her “soul-self,” a powerful bird-shaped astral form normally composed of dark energy. The soul-self separates from her body and possesses all her powers and more.
Superman DID lift Mjolnir in an epic Marvel/DC crossover event. However, it turned out that Odin, while watching, allowed it temporarily in the moment. When Superman tried to lift it after the battle, he couldn't anymore. So, basically, they way they wrote it, Superman is not worthy.
Characters like Maxwell Lord, Lex Luthor, and Alfred Pennyworth have found ways to defeat Superman through cunning and strategy. Even powerful beings like Godzilla, Brainiac, Darkseid, and Wonder Woman have proven capable of besting Superman in battle.
The "Marvel Big 3" isn't universally defined but usually refers to either the classic trio of Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Hulk (popular favorites) or the core Avengers' trio of Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor (especially in the MCU). While Spidey, Wolverine, and Hulk were the focus in comics for years, the MCU's success cemented Cap, Iron Man, and Thor as the cinematic "Big Three," though debates persist about which characters truly represent Marvel's biggest icons across all media.
The most dangerous Marvel villain is arguably Thanos. He possesses immense power, a relentless ambition, and a willingness to sacrifice everything to achieve his goals. His power as a God-like being with incredible strength, durability, and manipulation abilities makes him a formidable opponent.
In this sense, TOAA is above the narrative and cannot be defeated because it represents the authority that dictates the story itself. Any scenario in which it could be defeated would contradict its very nature and require the creators to rewrite the concept of the Marvel Multiverse itself.
