Tanjiro's ancestor was a good friend of Yoriichi and arguably was one of his only true friends. Therefore Yoriichi gave the earrings as a gift, and since then they have been passed down the generations until they reached Tanjiro.
He sported hanafuda earrings created by his mother as charms when he was thought to be deaf; he later gave them to his friend Sumiyoshi Kamado, who then passed the earrings down to his descendants and eventually Tanjiro as well.
Before Yoriichi left the Kamado family, he entrusted Sumiyoshi with his hanafuda earrings. These earrings became symbolic of Yoriichi's legacy, and Sumiyoshi ensured they would be remembered through his family.
Many Kimetsu no Yaiba fans deduce that Yoriichi is Tanjiro's father, but that isn't the case. However, Yoriichi is responsible for teaching Tanjiro's ancestors the Hinokami Kagura, which has been passed down for generations.
Is upper rank one Tanjiro's father? No, they are not related. Tanjiro, by PURE COINCIDENCE, heavily resembles Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the creator of Breath swordsmanship, the only other person to use Sun Breathing, and the only person Muzan ever feared.
Upper Rank 1: Kokushibo
However, what truly sets Kokushibo apart is his Blood Demon Art, Crescent Moon Blades. This unique technique allows him to wield crescent-shaped blades that can change length and speed instantaneously, making them a deadly and unpredictable weapon.
It is revealed that Muzan's true fear of dying and immense desire to live and survive was due to him being born "dead," where his heart would constantly stop in his mother's womb and was assumed stillborn until he fought to breathe before his cremation.

Yoriichi lived till old age, likely due to him having been born with the mark and thereby avoiding the curse altogether. Gyomei on the other hand did not activate his Mark until he was already older than 25. It was speculated that when he awoke his Mark during battle that he would likely die within hours.
Demon Slayer Season 3, the swordsmith village arc, showed Tanjiro having some kind of dream where it seems he is meeting Yoriichi.
In a nutshell, Muzan, being the progenitor of demons, is not scared of Doma. However, he is irritated by his inability to decipher Doma's thoughts and feelings, which is the ultimate control he has over all of his creations. Upper-Rank Two: Doma is a nihilistic maniac and a misanthropic cold-blooded demon.

So the only reason Muzan is afraid of Tanjiro is because of the Hanafuda earrings he possesses, which acted as a reminder of his downfall. nxt. Hanafuda Earrings are a symbol of Sun Breathing users, traditionally passed down from generation to generation as a family heirloom.
So now, Tanjiro, the protagonist of the Demon Slayer series, has access to a sword that belonged to the best swordsman to have ever lived. This sword was in bad condition, but Hotaru Haganezuka took it upon himself to restore the blade to its former glory.
The sword is primarily black, but it turns crimson red when the Breath of the Sun God (strongest breathing style) is used by both Tanjiro as well as Yoriichi.
Sumiyoshi Kamado
Sumiyoshi and Yoriichi met for the first time when Yoriichi saved the latter from a demon attack. After the encounter, it is evident that Yoriichi and Sumiyoshi became good friends, in spite of not seeing each other very often.
Curse of Kibutsuji
This curse besotted any who partake of Muzan's blood must be careful. The curse prevents Muzan's name from being spoken aloud, and any who do will meet a horrible demise. One demon, Susamaru, faced this reality when battling Tamayo.
Akaza was also one of Muzan's favorite demons out of all his subordinates. The reason behind this is Akaza's extreme loyalty to his master. The Upper Rank Three demon was always sent away on special missions, something the Upper Rank 1 and 2 were often denied of.
Muzan Kibutsuji
Muzan himself never thought highly of Daki and didn't reciprocate her devotion whatsoever, only ever talking to her to sweetly manipulate her into defeating Demon Slayers on his behalf.
Fortunately, Zenitsu was able to single handedly beat the Upper Moon 6. Not only did he defeat the demon, he also created a seventh form called the Flaming Thunder God. These are the demons who have been given the title of Upper Moon 6 in Demon Slayer.
We first see Doma when he is still the Upper Moon Six while he is in the middle of eating a geisha. Later he becomes even stronger and rises to the position of Upper Moon Two. He dies because of the lethal amount of poison he absorbed through Shinobu Kocho's body followed by Kanao Tsuyuri beheading him.
After the deaths of Daki and Gyutaro, Kaigaku was promoted to become Upper Moon Six of the Twelve Demon Moons due to his power and confronted Zenitsu as a rematch he always desired.
