Parabatai bond: Due to her parabatai bond with Alec Lightwood, Izzy is able to call on more strength in battle and is able to use certain runes or magic exclusive to parabatai. The runes drawn on her by, or shared with, Alec also give a considerably stronger effect.
It was so amazing to see Clary ask Izzy to be her Parabatai. It made it even more gut-wrenching to realize that this wasn't going to happen once Clary lost her memory.
Simon is Izzy's current boyfriend and possible soulmate. They met when Simon was first introduced to the Shadowhunters. Izzy was instantly flirtatious with Simon but it never went anywhere. Throughout the months to follow, the two of them would grow really close and always help each other when they needed it.
After becoming a Shadowhunter, Simon returned to New York and he and Clary underwent their parabatai ceremony.

Nevertheless, Magnus refuses and leaves. When Magnus attempts to erase his memories of Alec, Asmodeus unexpectedly steps in and stops Magnus from doing so, with Magnus demanding that he leave him alone, since Asmodeus never cared about him and never will, which Asmodeus dismisses.
After deciding to finally open up more about his past to Alec, the couple reconciled and got back together. The couple has since adopted two children: the first being a warlock that was abandoned on the steps of the Academy on the day that they were visiting, and the second being a Shadowhunter orphan of war.
The couple run the New York Institute together and are currently engaged. As heroes of the Mortal and the Dark wars, their love story became famous among other Shadowhunters.
Rouse will force Clary to be impregnated by a demon, to give birth to a warlock — a dying breed. Dr. Rouse has an elixir that makes it possible for Shadowhunters to get pregnant by demons, and Clary realizes that Dr. Rouse had spiked her tea.
When they were 12, Cordelia saved Lucie's life when she fell off a cliff—holding on to her as she dangled till help could arrive. After this, they decided to become parabatai.
As soon as they got home, Simon showed Izzy his appreciation for her in their bedroom at the Institute. The pair eventually got their own place together and, in August 2012, got engaged when Simon made a spur-of-the-moment decision to propose after fighting off some Shax demons.
Despite the success of her mission, Clary is turned into a human and forced out of the Shadow World, with her memories of the last few years with Jace and the others gone.

Simon made a deal with a demon to take his immortality and memory so he and his friends could get out of Edom. He became human again and did not remember the Shadow World until he started training to become a Shadowhunter.
Clary and Jace spent the novel on some mission in Faerie. They're still together, but Clary turned down Jace's proposal of marriage. She did so because believes that she is going to die soon.

She searched for Clary and found her on a farm speaking to the angel Ithuriel. In her true form, she brutally killed the angel by ripping out his heart and took a sliver of Clary's soul. She completed Magnus's potion with Clary's soul and gave the drink to Jace, its effect on him instantaneous.

So Clary will remember everything, she will be shadowhunter again, she will be parabatai with Izzy and everything will be good. I watched the show quite a long time ago and remember disliking the ending. They were (good) friends but never seemed parabatai level, seemed kinda sudden.
