Later, when the Celestials' Final Host arrived on Earth, Ajak, along with all the Eternals, killed themselves after realizing the true purpose for which they were created.
When the Eternals became aware that Tiamut's birth would result in the destruction of Earth, they rallied together to prematurely end his life, averting the Emergence in the process by also subjecting himself to the Uni-Mind.
According to God Emperor Doom, this Knowhere is the head of the Celestial who came to collect Battleworld but was slain in battle by the God Emperor himself and its head is still in orbit around Battleworld as a reminder of Doom's power.
While the Emergence of the Celestial Tiamut was halted, there was still a large portion of the Celestial protruding from the Indian Ocean, the birthing point of the Emergence. A good majority of Tiamut's hand and a portion of its head were left frozen, sticking out of the water.
Tiamut, being arguably the most powerful Celestial must command a great deal of cosmic energy. Galactus can also manipulate energy in great proportions. He can project an energy blast powerful enough to shatter a medium-sized planet. However, his energy projection capabilities are only limited by how much he consumes.
Although Tiamut defeated Arishem, he was then attacked by four other Celestials who had been working with Arishem, and he was imprisoned underneath the mountains.

Type of Villain
Arishem at the end of Eternals. The end of one life, Sersi, is the beginning of another. Arishem the Judge's most famous quote. Arishem the Judge is the overarching antagonist of the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals.
Arishem was later destroyed when Korvac drew upon the life energies of all the beings on Earth.
While most Celestials possess extraordinary power, Gamiel is the weakest of all of them. He is the same size as that of the Hulk and is the youngest of all Celestials. Gamiel got the moniker “Manipulator” because he caused the events that led to the 4 million year Kree-Skrull war.
Some sources identify her with images of a sea serpent or dragon. In the Enûma Elish, the Babylonian epic of creation, Tiamat bears the first generation of deities; her husband, Apsu, correctly assuming that they are planning to kill him and usurp his throne, later makes war upon them and is killed.
During the "King in Black" storyline, three Celestials are shown to have been slain by Knull, with their corpses being possessed by his symbiotes. Thor and Knull later fight and Thor gains the upper hand until Knull distracts Thor by bringing in his symbiote-possessed Celestials and stabs Thor in the back.
Theory: Tiamut Sacrificed Himself In Eternals
With that in mind, a theory by New Rockstars (via CBR) suggests that Tiamut actually sacrificed himself in the MCU.
Because seriously his feet couldve just kicked one side of the earth like a baby in the womb and he would have been released, but he didn't, like he was minimising damage.
Guilt-ridden over his betrayal to Arishem and his actions against his fellow Eternals, Ikaris leaves earth and flies into the sun, ending his life.
5 Tiamut The Dreaming Celestial
Notable Traits/Accomplishments: Defeated a fellow Celestial, Arishem.
Arishem, just like all the Celestials, would have no problem defeating Thanos – especially one without the Infinity Stones. Thanos was one of the strongest living creatures in the universe, granted, but he was far from an all-powerful entity like the MCU's Celestials.
Gilgamesh
In terms of raw physical strength, Gilgamesh (Don Lee) is easily the strongest Eternal.
During the events of the film, Gilgamesh partakes in getting the Eternals back together to combat the Deviants. Gilgamesh is later killed in battle by Kro who gains a humanoid form. Before succumbing to his injuries, Gilgamesh tells Thena to remember who she is.
Peter Jason Quill was born in 1980 to Meredith Quill and Ego, making him a hybrid of human and Celestial. His conception was all part of a plot set up by his father to produce a second Celestial, whose power he could use to complete the Expansion, which involved assimilating millions of worlds into Ego's very being.
Uni-Mind Energy Manipulation:
After connecting with the cosmic energy and mind of the other Eternals, Sersi's powers was increased to the point she was able to transform Tiamut the Communicator, an all-powerful Celestial, into stone.
So, what is it about Tiamut that makes him so feared and powerful that even Galactus trembles in his presence? The answer to that lies with The Fulcrum, the cosmic entity responsible for the creation of the Celestials, the Watchers, and in one way or another, everything that exists in the Marvel Universe.
As revealed in Eternals, Tiamut was planted inside Earth long ago, waiting for the human population to become large enough to power the emergence. This could mean that Ego didn't know about Tiamut at all, or he did know and just didn't care.
Even though there hasn't been an official announcement about Eternals 2, Patton Oswalt, who played Pip the Troll in one of Eternals' post-credits scenes, said in August 2022 that a sequel announcement was imminent and that Chloé Zhao would be returning as the director.
