Jawline slimming with Botox® utilizes strategic Botox® injections into the posterior muscles of the jaw (a.k.a. masseter muscle) to gradually reduce the jaw muscle size over time.

For jawline slimming and contouring - Patients can expect to see gradual improvements with Botox injections for jaw reduction. The neurotoxin usually takes effect within a week after the injections and full slimming results can be visible after two to four weeks.
Bruxism and square jaw are the most common indications for botulinum toxin injection. For square jaw, inject 8–10 BU per point into masseteric muscle at 3 to 4 points. A dose for masseter muscle is 25–30 BU and temporal muscle is 15–20 BU per one side in the treatment of bruxism.
You should avoid injecting botulinum toxin into the frontalis muscle, which is the muscle that raises your eyebrows and arches your forehead. You should also try to not inject botox into several other facial muscles, such as those that allow you to smile or chew.

The results of Masseter Botox or Jawline Botox takes 4 to 6 weeks to show on average. Please note that the before & after results of masseter Botox treatment vary as each individual has different anatomy. The shape and size of the face and jawline is affected by the bone size, shape, soft tissue and the chin structure.
On average, re-treatment is carried out at anything from 4-6 months. However, and especially in the case of teeth grinding treatment, the more times you have Masseter Botox, the longer it lasts. Results in such cases can last up to 9 months, depending on the individual.
Jawline filler procedures are relatively safe. Any side effects tend to be temporary.
The dose required for jawline filler is very variable. It depends on the anatomy and the desired result. Some patients will be satisfied with 1ml, others will need 6 mls or more to get the results that they want.
