In His infinite wisdom, God may sometimes allow His faithful ones to pass away early to protect them from forthcoming trials and tribulations. The best definition of “righteous” is living in a way that you do what is right in the eyes of God.
The New Testament writers made clear distinction between the Levitical Law and the work of Christ. The Law had a purpose but was never meant to bring salvation. Paul had been educated as a Pharisee in the Law, but he had persecuted Christians and Christ before his conversion.

So, where was Jesus for the three days in between His death and resurrection? For a time, He was in Hades, preaching to the spirits in prison (whoever they were). Then, He released all of the righteous dead of Sheol/Hades and took them with Him to heaven. But, again, there is controversy on virtually every point.
The Church does not teach definitively whether or not there will be animals in Heaven, or in the new earth after the Resurrection of the dead. The Scriptures do describe animals at peace in the new creation (see, for instance, Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:25), but that may be symbolic.

Reserved Sins?
Pride is known as hubris (from the Ancient Greek ὕβρις) or futility; it is considered the original and worst of the seven deadly sins—the most demonic—on almost every list. Pride is also thought to be the source of the other capital sins. Pride is viewed as the opposite of humility.
The unforgivable sin isn't something you stumble into accidentally. It's the settled, defiant rejection of the Spirit's witness to Christ. If your sin grieves you and you desire His mercy, that itself is evidence that the Spirit is still at work in you. So turn to Him today and find rest in His forgiveness.
