Jesus, therefore, seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing by, said to his mother: iWoman, behold thy son.; Then, he said to the disciple iBehold thy mother.; And from that hour the disciple took her to his own (home). This very well-known text is one of the most important Marian passages in Scripture.
Luke 23:45b-46: And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.
Haydn wrote The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross in 1786 in response to a commission from the bishop of Spain's Cadiz Cathedral. The bishop requested music to accompany the cathedral's Good Friday service that year.
Just before he breathed his last breath, Jesus uttered the phrase “it is finished.” Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said, “I am thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put it on a hyssop branch, and held it up to his lips.
One first word from Jesus, “Father, forgive them for they no not what they do.” And three words from us. O God, forgive them.

7. Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.
Jesus's last words on the cross were in Aramaic: “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani” – “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Jesus read Hebrew from the Bible at the synagogue in Luke 4:16. He chatted, too, with a Syrophoenician woman, who would have spoken Phoenician.
Jesus' name in Hebrew was “Yeshua” which translates to English as Joshua.

According to Christianity.com, Mary was 46 to 49 years old when Jesus died. Britannica states that she “flourished” from 25 B.C. to A.D. 75. Assuming this is in reference to her lifespan, according to Britannica, Mary was approximately 54 to 59 years old when Jesus died.
According to Mark 6:3 Jesus had four brothers (and two sisters): "Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon?
After the Ascension of Jesus
Her death is not recorded in the scriptures, but Orthodox tradition, tolerated also by Catholics, has her first dying a natural death, known as the Dormition of Mary, and then, soon after, her body itself also being assumed (taken bodily) into Heaven.
In her 2018 book What Did Jesus Look Like?, Taylor used archaeological remains, historical texts and ancient Egyptian funerary art to conclude that, like most people in Judea and Egypt around the time, Jesus most likely had brown eyes, dark brown to black hair and olive-brown skin. The fifth word, I thirst, is the only time that Jesus speaks of his physical suffering and pain. It is a reminder that the Passion is not only a spiritual reality, a cosmic happening. It is a bodily act, the crucifixion of a man's body.

I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
First word: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). Second word: “... Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). Third word: “Woman, behold your son” and “Behold your mother” (John 19:26, 27).
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” These are the final recorded words of Jesus before He ascended into Heaven – the very last thing He said to His disciples.

The Seventh Word
“Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.” Luke 23:46. Jesus bows His head and hands over His spirit to His Father for all of us. This momentous and glorious moment proclaims that the past is finished, and a bright future is open to all.
