It took four and a half days to sink the U.S.S. Nevada. The 575-foot-long battleship, painted bright orange from its earlier role as a nuclear test target, was towed out of Pearl Harbor to sea, where a classified explosive was detonated in its hull.
It is impossible to tell exactly how long it will take a ship to sink. The reason for this is because the time it takes to sink depends on how damaged the ship is. The Titanic sank in under three hours because a good amount of air remained inside after the iceberg punctured it.

On July 31, Nevada was to be sunk by naval gunfire from the modern battleship USS Iowa (16-inch guns) and three light cruisers (6-inch guns). First from 15 miles out, then just five, Nevada was pounded by gunfire, but refused to sink.

The Brigantine sits between both ships in terms of speed. It's faster than the Galleon against the wind and faster than the Sloop with the wind. As a result, it has the most options when trying to escape battle or things like Kraken encounters.
The Kraken will take longer to defeat based upon which ship it attacks. A Sloop only needs to kill around 2 to 3 tentacles, the Brigantine 5 to 6 tentacles, and the Galleon 7 to 8 tentacles to make the Kraken leave you alone.
Unfortunately the sloop exceeding others into the wind is not completely true. There was a video with some compelling in-game experiments which showed the Brig would always pull ahead of a sloop against the wind.
The HMHS Britannic was slightly larger than the RMS Titanic. The Britannic measured 882 feet (269 meters) in length and had a gross tonnage of 48,158, compared to the Titanic's length of 882 feet (268 meters) and a gross tonnage of 46,328.

At 8.12am on 21st November 1916, while steaming in the Aegean Sea HMHS Britannic struck a mine and sadly sunk in only 55 minutes with the loss of 30 lives. In total, 1,035 people survived the sinking.
