FRENCH – MOST BEAUTIFUL SPOKEN LANGUAGE
With its unpronounceable “r”, its nasal vowel sounds “en”, “in”, “un” and melodious intonation, it sounds extremely musical to the non-native ear. And let's not forget the strong cultural context which lends French the status of the most beautiful spoken language in the world.
1. English (1,452 million speakers) According to Ethnologue, English is the most-spoken language in the world including native and non-native speakers. Like Latin or Greek at the time, English has become the world's common language.
French is one of the best sounding languages with the words being too melodic and soft for the ears. The musical tone of the French language is too soothing and French is widely spoken in various parts of the world like France, Switzerland, Canada, Congo, Belgium, etc.
Latin languages tend to be "soft" to the ear because they tend to use more vowels than consonants at least in speech. German, Dutch, Russian, Arabic, probably some of the Caucasian languages like Georgian, etc sound "Hard" because they have groups of consonants with fewer connecting vowel sounds.
Of the thousands of different languages spoken around the world, the one language that has been regarded as the 'queen of all languages' is Kannada. Kannada is spoken in the southern state of Karnataka and is one of the most prominent Dravidian languages in India.
