Overall, men and women of above average height rated their lives as better and were more likely to report positive emotions such as happiness and enjoyment in the previous day.
“Around 68% of the adult male population are within 3 inches of that height, so 5'7"falls within that majority range. That's pretty "normal" (i.e. common, typical) for men. So 5'7" is a little bit shorter than average, but falls within the typical range for an adult male.

Tall Men Often Try to be Kinder
In an effort to avoid being perceived as aggressive, many tall people work to be kind and gentle around others. While the perception might be unfair, it is certainly not a bad thing to practice as much kindness as possible no matter who you are!
Scientists aren't sure exactly why, but people who are shorter than 5 feet 3 inches are about 50% more likely to get coronary heart disease than those who are 5 feet 8 inches or taller. The reason may be poor nutrition or infections before birth or in childhood that affect growth.
Study after study has found that taller men and women are generally considered more attractive. Intriguingly, you can even guess someone's height from their face, meaning a mugshot on a dating website is not going to hide a more diminutive frame.
While men might see taller women as more conventionally attractive — and even more intelligent — than shorter women, men find the latter to be “more nurturing and likely to be better mothers.” According to Dobson, “men believed that shorter women were more considerate, nurturing and homely.”
If you're a tall guy, there certainly are upsides for dating a tall woman. For starters, taller women are generally seen as more powerful. Author John Dobson asserts, “Both men and women judge a tall female on first sight as more intelligent, assertive, independent, and ambitious.”
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, short stature means an estimated final height below 5 feet 3 inches for boys or 4 feet 11 inches for girls. The average height in the United States is 5 feet 8 inches for men and 5 feet 4 inches for women.
Try a Higher Waist
It sounds counterintuitive because a higher waist can shorten the appearance of your torso, but a higher waistline does elongate the visual line of your legs, making you look taller. As a shorter men, a general rule of thumb is that you want your legs to look taller.
Women prefer to date taller men; tall men attract more desirable partners. On average, women have a strong preference for tall men. In fact, women care more about dating taller men than men care about dating shorter women.
Constitutional delay in growth and puberty (A child is short during most of childhood but will have late onset of puberty and end up in the typical height range as an adult because the child will have more time to grow.)
A major growth spurt happens at the time of puberty, usually between 8 to 13 years of age in girls and 10 to 15 years in boys. Puberty lasts about 2 to 5 years.
