Intersex is a group of conditions in which there is a discrepancy between the external genitals and the internal genitals (the testes and ovaries). The older term for this condition is hermaphroditism.

In the area of 1 in 2,000 people are born intersex. These individuals may have mixed genitalia, meaning some combination of ovaries and testes. This comes about either because ovarian and testicular tissue grow together in the same organ or because a "male side" and a "female side" develop in the body.
Some intersex people have genitals or internal sex organs that fall outside the male/female categories — such as a person with both ovarian and testicular tissues.
Ambiguous genitalia is a rare condition in which an infant's external genitals don't appear to be clearly either male or female. In a baby with ambiguous genitalia, the genitals may be incompletely developed or the baby may have characteristics of both sexes.
For those who have uterus didelphys, the two ducts don't join together. Instead each tube builds its own uterus. Hence a double uterus is formed. Some people with a double uterus may also have two cervixes and two vaginal canals.
Hermaphrodites have sex organs or tissues belonging to both sexes. What about gynandromorphs? Their whole bodies are literally split down the middle or in large sections, with one section being male and other female - not just the sex organs.

Gynandromorph is an animal that's half male and half female when splitting at the midline. Meanwhile, a hermaphrodite is an animal that appears as male or female but has both male and female reproductive organs. So, this is the key difference between gynandromorph and hermaphrodite.
Gynandromorphy happens in a range of species, from spiders to birds, but is unheard of in humans.
