Its blend of citrus terpenes will dissolve tar, mastics, inks, grease and oil. It is a very effective degreaser. Angry Orange is also an excellent pre-spray for use on extremely difficult cleaning jobs and will remove carbonized deposits of grease and oil. This product will emulsify with water.
Vinegar, a natural deodorizer, can be added to the washing machine, while baking soda can be used both as a pre-treatment paste and a laundry booster. Commercial odor-neutralizing sprays and specialized laundry detergents designed for removing pet odors are also excellent alternatives for treating elderly clothing.

What Not to Use to Clean Carpets
Detergents can be enzyme cleaners, as they often contain enzymes such as lipase and protease to break down stains and odors. However, vinegar and bleach (or Clorox) is not considered an enzyme cleaner since it is acidic and works by dissolving waste that is then washed away.
So now I use Angry Orange. It's a concentrate so I just mix a little with water and mop. It actually cuts through the grime and gets rid of the pet smell instead of covering it up. And honestly it smells so clean like real oranges and not chemicals.
