A gray account is an account used to log into Facebook that is not associated with a personal profile or account. People used to be able to manage their Pages with gray accounts before we required individuals to have a personal Profile in order to create, manage, or run ads on a Page.
Grey Accounts general have no profile picture or header photo (or if they do, they're generic images and not of a real person), and often have little to no activity, photos or posts.
You may close your Grey account at any time by; Login to your account on the mobile app. Navigate to More. Select 'Delete your account'
There are certain fields that must be completed before you can save and publish your post. These are identified by an asterisk (*), and include the title and content sections of the post. If the Schedule, Preview, and Publish buttons appear greyed out, look to make sure these fields are complete.

People can't see your timeline or find your account in a search unless you reactivate the account. Some things may remain visible (for example: private messages you have sent). You can reactivate your account at any time by logging back into Facebook or by using your Facebook account to log in somewhere else.
A deactivated account will not have any profile image and will show the username as "Instagram User". Messages sent to such accounts will not be delivered.
When your account is deactivated: No one else can see your profile. Some information, like messages you sent to friends, may still be visible. Your friends may still see your name in their friends list.
