US-based tech giant Apple Inc may exclude the iPhone SE 4 from its new product planning for 2024/2025.
Currently, iPhone 8 and all other variants are running on iOS 16 and it is unlikely for the model to support iOS 17. But some experts say that the update can continue till 2024 or 2025 because they discontinued the production after three years of the launch.
iPhone 16 Launch Date
The iPhone 16 models are expected to come out in September 2024, and they will follow the 2023 iPhone 15 models.

iPhone 7 is not getting any further major iOS updates. Ios 15 is the last version it will run. The issues with no more major updates to iOS may not be as important as which apps are supported.
The iPhone 11 was released in September 2019 and has since been succeeded by the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 lineups. Although newer series come with advanced features and design upgrades, the iPhone 11 is still a capable device for those who want to buy iPhone in 2023.
With the iPhone 11, you'll get iOS updates until 2025. This means you can use the latest Apple software until the next software update in 2026. You won't get updates afterwards and you won't have access to the latest functions. You can still use the iPhone 11 like you're used to, but your device is a bit less secure.
All refurbished iPhone models from the iPhone 11 series are expected to receive their latest iOS update in September 2025. Until the next software update in 2026, you can benefit from the latest functions. Unfortunately, you'll no longer have access to the latest iOS version after September 2026.
