In Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Puck magically transforms the actor Nick Bottom's head into that of a donkey (an ass) while Bottom is rehearsing with his fellow craftsmen in the woods, causing the others to flee in terror and leading the fairy queen Titania to fall in love with him. Puck does this as a prank, and Bottom remains unaware of the change, believing his friends ran away because they were making fun of him.
Puck uses magic to turn Bottom's head into a Donkey head, while he is rehearsing in the forest.
After delivering his lines, Bottom exits behind the bushes, as Quince told him to do. While he's hidden from the other actors, Puck transforms Bottom's head into the head of a donkey.
Puck decides to play a trick, giving Bottom the head of an ass (a donkey). This frightens the other tradespeople so much they flee, leaving Bottom all alone.
His capricious humor, miscreant spirit, and use of magic all set the events of the play in motion. He gives the actor Nick Bottom the head of an ass so that Titania will fall in love with him when she wakes up and so that she will be distracted from her changeling prince.
Even without knowing that he has the head of a donkey, Bottom has enough self-awareness to recognize the absurdity of the situation. Hence his gentle dismissal of Titania's words, and his surprisingly spot-on reflection that there is “little reason” for her oath of love.
While he's waiting he overhears Demetrius and Helena arguing and decides to help her by using the juice on Demetrius. He puts some juice in Titania's eye and she falls in love with Bottom while he has an ass' head. By the end of the play Oberon has undone all the magic and made peace with Titania.
While in the forest for rehearsal, Puck casts a spell on Bottom. He transforms Bottom into a man with an ass's head. Even though his head is turned into that of an ass, the fairy queen, Titania, who is also affected by magic, temporarily becomes Bottom's love interest.
Emilia - Puck treats Emilia as a daughter and enjoys acting as a father figure to her. He initially met her seven years before the Royal Selection where she was frozen in the Elior Forest and he thawed her out. In the beginning of the series Puck was contracted to Emilia and bound to her service.
In the play, Bottom is a craftsman who is rehearsing a play with his friends in a forest near Athens. The mischievous Puck (or Robin Goodfellow) uses faerie magic to change Bottom's head into that of a donkey. Left alone in the forest after his friends abandon him, Bottom sings loudly to show that he is not afraid.
Titania and her attendants pamper Bottom, who falls asleep with her. Oberon, watching them, tells Robin that Titania has given him the Indian boy and thus they can now remove the spells from Titania and Bottom. Reunited, Titania and Oberon use music to charm Bottom and the four lovers into a deep sleep, and then exit.
Oberon directs Puck to use the flower juice on Lysander, so he will fall in love with Helena (who already loves him), but Puck mistakes Lysander for Demetrius, and squeezes the flower juice into the wrong lover's eyes, causing chaos when both men fall madly in love with Helena.
One of Puck's most famous quotes comes from Act 3 of the play: ''Lord, what fools these mortals be!'' He says this line to King Oberon when they are watching the mortals' foolish actions.
A Midsummer Night's Dream is a play about love. It proposes that love is a dream, or perhaps a vision; that it is absurd, irrational, a delusion, or, perhaps, on the other hand, a transfiguration; that it is doomed to be momentary (“So quick bright things come to confusion” [1.1.
Abandoned by his terrified friends, Bottom sings. His singing awakens Titania, who, under the influence of the flower's magic, falls in love with him. She takes him away to sleep in her bower. Act 3, scene 2 Robin Goodfellow reports to Oberon about Titania and Bottom.
Egeus is easily identifiable as a villainous antagonist. He treats Hermia like property, completely disregards her desire to marry Lysander, and heartlessly threatens her with execution or convent life---all without a very defensible reason.
Kobayashi expressed his gratitude, stating, “I would like to share that I, Yusuke Kobayashi, have married fellow voice actor Yumi Uchiyama. I deeply appreciate everyone who has supported me thus far and will continue to strive forward with gratitude.
After Puck broke his contract with Emilia in Arc 4 so that Emilia could complete the trials (since Puck's contract blocked Emilia's memories), Emilia was in despair, although Puck was sure that one day Emilia will renew her contract with him in the future.
It just portmanteau of Half-elf and Witch (which are also considered demons socially in Re:Zero's world apparently). It's meant to be more of an insult to her.
Sleeping Titania
Oberon, the husband of Titania, chooses to get his revenge on his wife by using magic to make her fall in love with a monster. He finds Titania sleeping after her tryst with Bottom and feigns shock and anger. To apologize to her husband for her infidelity, she agrees to hand over the changeling boy.
When Bottom returns, unaware of his own transformation, his fellow actors run away from him with Quince screaming, "We are haunted!" Bottom believes they are playing a prank on him, proclaiming, "This is to make an ass of me, to fright me if they could." So he stays in the forest by himself and sings loudly to show ...
In the middle of rehearsal, a fairy named Puck enters and decides to turn Bottom's head into the head of a donkey. Bottom's friends flee from him in fright, but poor Bottom has no idea why. He cannot see his donkey's head, nor can any of us (except rarely) see our own absurdities.
Originally a supervillain, in later years, she has reformed into more of an antihero. The character has also been a member of the Masters of Evil and the Frightful Four at various points in her history.
