The "Avada Kedavra" spell is a fictional, powerful Dark Arts curse from the Harry Potter universe. To perform it successfully in the narrative, a wizard or witch must possess significant magical power and the genuine, cold-blooded intent to murder the target.
Avada Kedavra is the last unforgivable curse that you'll learn from Sebastian Sallows' relationship quest line. You'll learn Avada Kedavra during the quest “In the Shadow of the Relic” — Hogwarts Legacy suggests that you're level 28 before you start it.
Abracadabra is suppose to mean in Hebrew, "I will create as I speak", or in Aramaic, "I create like the word" (אברא כדברא). So in a sense, Abracadabra is the opposite of Avada Kedavra, which kills, while Abracadabra is suppose to create.

There is no way to block the spell, and there is no counter-curse - it can only be dodged. Harry Potter is the only known survivor of the Curse, having been protected by Lily Potter's sacrifice - the spell instead rebounded upon the caster, Lord Voldemort.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, Rony can be seen attempting to launch an Avada Kedavra during the Battle of Hogwarts. This shows Rony's desperation in that scene, as he tried the unthinkable to save Hermione and himself.
Snape's invention of the Laceration Curse was not likely a secret, as Remus Lupin was able to recognise it during the Battle of the Seven Potters. In the films, Sectumsempra appears as a small flash of white light launched forward like many spells, which causes a cut when it strikes the target.

Rowling claims she created this spell out of a popular “Abra-Kadabra” saying in Aramaic which means “Let the thing be destroyed”. This horrible spell has taken the lives of Albus Dumbledore, Fred Weasley, and of course the parents of Harry Potter.

Once snape realized this he said out of context “but he thinks it's her son.” Another way to say this more completely would be “I told Voldemort about the prophecy and I would be ok with whatever he decided to do, but HE THINKS ITS LILY'S SON HARRY and now he's going to kill the whole family and more importantly Lily ...
But when Scorpius shows that he knows of Snape having been in love with Lily, Harry's mother – Snape's most closely guarded secret – Snape becomes convinced that he does indeed come from a different timeline where Harry and his friends won.
He viewed Snape as loyal so rather than kill him by his own hand, he gave Nagini the kill. Voldemort believed that Snape had to be killed to make the elder wand work, since Snape killed Dumbledore.
Snape's last line in the movie is “look at me…you have your mother's eyes.” 🥺 The books and the movie differ in so many ways. The movies left so much out from the books but they also added a few little extras. Snape saying “you have your mother's eyes” in this scene is definitely one of those appropriated extras.
