Mythological dragons, especially Western ones, are often weakened by their own greed, pride, and arrogance, making them susceptible to clever heroes, while physically they can be vulnerable in their soft underbelly, mouth (stuffed with lead/spear), and sometimes to specific elements like cold or lightning, or even mundane things like certain plants or metals, depending on the lore. Eastern dragons, while powerful, can be bound by rules or specific items like silk or iron.
If you want to go full classical, dragons in the old legends very often had one weak-point where their scales didn't cover. On the neck or chest usually. A small patch, that if your aim was true enough, could be pierced with any weapon as if normal skin... but good luck doing that in combat.
Lance through the mouth
Lancing a dragon is probably the best-known method, as popularised by St George (though he is sometimes confused with other dragonslaying saints such as St Theodore).
Weaknesses
Also, I found colossal weapons to be very useful against them, the dodge r1 is a quick thrust which ancient dragons are weak to, and the zwei hander has the r2 thrust.
There actually was a creature in medieval European folklore who was considered the “natural enemy” of dragons: Ichneumons . They were weasel or ferret like critters that would literally go down dragons' throats and eat them from the inside out.
In Red and Blue , Lance says that Dragon is a near-unbeatable and powerful type, which is emphasized by the fact that it only has two weaknesses, one of which being itself. The Ice weakness is likely a play on how reptiles can't survive cold temperatures, and Dragon types for the most part are based on reptiles.
Dragons are, however, sensitive to pain. Anything capable of penetrating their hide and scales receives their full attention. A dragon's sense of smell is split between its nostrils and its tongue.
Behir are literally bred to hunt dragons.
The Pokedex refers to Goomy as the “weakest” Dragon type Pokémon. But Noibat has a lower Base Stat Total at 245 and Goomy has exactly the same BST as Dratini, Bagon, Gible and Deino at 300.
But if you don't want to change up your build, Dragonslayer is weak to Fire, so any Charcoal Pine Resins to buff your weapon with Fire will help immensely.
The seven classes are Boulder, Mystery, Sharp, Stoker, Strike, Tidal and Tracker. As mentioned in the exclusive short, Book of Dragons, and in "We Are Family, Part 2", Gobber's great-great-great-grandfather, Bork the Bold, was the first to categorize dragons into different classes.
This relief shows the victorious struggle of the Archangel Michael with the devil, as described in the Book of Revelation: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.”
Weak to Fire and Holy. Highly susceptible to Burning. Ice based attacks may partially inflict Frozen but the dragon cannot be shattered.
Developers made the fairy type immune to the dragon type and had fairy super-affect (deal double damage to) dragon types. There are a few other types that are immune to certain types (for example, flying is immune to ground), but none of the immune types super-affect the opposing type.
We might see a Dragon Hunter magic weapon in the future, but that doesn't really conflict with weaknesses. Like Dragons are weak to stab attacks for Melee, not only the Lance.
In medieval literature, the ichneumon or echinemon was the enemy of the dragon.
Dragon's Fear allows its users to release a mana-infused shout from their souls, driving anyone weaker than them into a state of intense despair and panic.
The hippopotamus would almost certainly come out on top in a fight against a komodo dragon. With their massive size, crazy strength, and rigid bodies, hippos can easily overpower a Komodo dragon.
Unfortunately for humanoids, a dragon's grudges live as long as the dragon. Because an angered dragon holds individual humanoids in such little esteem, it does not particularly concern itself with enacting its vengeance upon the specific person who angered it.
Let's take a look at some of them here.
The weakness of dragon types are Dragon x2, Fairy x2, and Ice x2 .
Dragons do not have condition immunity Frightened, so yes, technically they can be frightened.
White dragons (also known as ice dragons or glacial wyrms) were the weakest and most feral of the classic chromatic dragons. White dragons were physically the smallest of the chromatic dragons, even smaller than black dragons.
Dragon attacks are supposedly not weak to any type of Pokémon, but, again, this is unverifiable. If Dragon Rage hits, it always inflicts 40 HP of damage, no matter what. While this is a good attack to have in the early stages of the game, it quickly loses its punch with higher Level Pokémon.
