In her inital appearance, Shinobu was completely mute, not speaking at all, except for a few occasions. Even so, she is normally very talkative, and could not stand being silent for more than a few months. She has a haughty and arrogant demeanor, being very prideful and overly confident in her own abilities.
Shinobu Oshino is the "human name" of the vampire Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. She generally is called this, depending on the person talking about her or her power level at the time. This vampire name was conceived by Deathtopia Virtuoso Suicide-Master, who was very proud of how meaningful the name is.

In Kizumonogatari, Oshino Meme says there is a way to keep Shinobu alive that would also stop her from eating humans. He says Araragi must almost kill Shinobu to do so, which turns her into a quasi vampire being. From what I understand that is how Shinobu lost most of her powers.
She run away in the hope that their bond would be broken.
Shinobu confessed her love to Guiyu. in episode 18 of Demon Slayer, Shinobu shows her liking to Guiyu.
Shinobu's favorite past-time during missions is poking and irritating Giyu, according to a Taisho Secret. She worries about Giyu a lot since he seems like an airhead and got angry after he stopped her from defending him against a demon on Mt. Natagumo.
In fanon they usually portray Douma being comically in love with Shinobu while she despises him, or they both falling in love with each other and developing a romantic relationship despite Shinobu's initial reluctance.
8 Shinobu Kocho, The Insect Hashira
Shinobu Kocho is a capable Demon Slayer whose worthy of being the Insect Hashira. That being said, she's arguably the weakest Hashira when it comes to pure strength.
You see, Shinobu originally received a core uniform. similar to that of mitsaries at first, but Shinobu knew about his motives, so technically. she burned the uniform in front of the Taylor. to threaten him. And it worked.
Tengen Uzui
He is the fastest Hashira, and the second physically strongest. Obviously, then, Tengen Uzui is rather proud. He is demanding, fussy, boastful, and prone to selfishness. But he is also ultimately kind and caring, with great love for his three wives as well as the other Hashira.
However, later in the series, it was revealed that Shinobu's smile is nothing but a facade.
It is later revealed that her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask, as Shinobu holds an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister, Kanae Kocho, at a young age, along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsuguko, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion ...
She was the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, the younger sister of Kanae Kocho and the adoptive older sister of Kanao Tsuyuri.
Shinobu serves a dual role in the series. She's the one who nurtures and heals everyone on the butterfly estate. She's also the most remorseless killer of demons who physically enjoys the slaughter. She is medicine, but she is also poison.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
Yet an official Demon Slayer "fanbook," written by the manga's creator, Koyoharu Gotouge, revealed Muzan doesn't really like Upper Rank Two demon, Doma. As Lower Ranks Six, Four, Three and Two can attest, Muzan is not averse to eliminating demons he doesn't care for, even if they're Kizuki.
Akaza was also one of Muzan's favorite demons out of all his subordinates. The reason behind this is Akaza's extreme loyalty to his master. The Upper Rank Three demon was always sent away on special missions, something the Upper Rank 1 and 2 were often denied of.
Doma also displayed what arguably is his first true emotion, love, when he proclaimed his love for Shinobu after finding her cute.
When Giyu later hears about Shinobu's death, he suddenly recalls her smiling face while being visibly shocked and upset by the news. This contrasts to his reaction to death of his other fellow Demon Slayers such as Kyojuro Rengoku, Muichiro Tokito and Genya Shinazugawa, whom he didn't react to as emotionally.

Shinobu opened her mouth and Giyuu did so as well, deepening the kiss. Giyuu was huffing little puffs of breath between kisses, while Shinobu's lips were quirked in mirth at how affected Giyuu already was.
