Gemstone. Jasper's gemstone is located where her nose otherwise would be. It is triangular, and faceted onto a low point. It has a diamond-esque shape.
Jasper is an opaque, fine grained species of chalcedony comprised of myriad microscopic quartz crystals intermixed with various impurities. Jasper can come in any color and it takes on many appearances.
These issues came to a head in the previous episode, “Fragments,” in which Steven trained with the eternally grumpy former villain Jasper (Kimberly Brooks). However, this fueled Steven's anger instead of taming it. Steven then shattered Jasper's gemstone, which was the equivalent of killing her.
After being accidentally shattered by Steven and subsequently revived, Jasper acknowledges his incredible power and pledges her loyalty to him, calling Steven her Diamond, and defending him in "Homeworld Bound" when Pearl angrily asks him where he had been during the events of the episode "Fragments".
Jasper is the youngest vampire in the Cullen pack so he has the hardest time resisting human blood.

After three days of training, Steven challenges Jasper to a rematch. During the fight, Steven becomes much more aggressive, even laughing maniacally. Using his powers, Steven traps her in a barrier and shoots spikes straight at her, shattering her gemstone, effectively killing her.
Jasper holds Lapis hostage as part of a plan to destroy the earth. After Jasper sees how powerful Garnet is as a fusion, Jasper forces her captive Lapis to fuse without her consent. Lapis uses this opportunity to chain Jasper to the bottom of the ocean, dragging herself down with her.

Jasper is a traditional birthstone for March as depicted in the ancient Russian, Italian and Hebrew calendars. The word "jasper" is derived from the Greek word "iaspi", literally meaning spotted stone. It is an opaque chalcedony that can be found in a variety of different colours.
Much later, it was revealed that Jaspers' disappearance was the result of one of Roxy Lalonde's appearifier experiments, teleporting him to post-scratch Earth. Jaspers lived with. Roxy for a long time, and was renamed Frigglish, after Roxy's favorite wizard from Complacency of the Learned.
Steven is the only gem who is male, and this is likely because he is half-human. Steven is constantly surrounded by female caregiving figures and acts feminine.

Jaspers, in general, are very common; hence most of the value in a given piece relates to the saturation of its color, the beauty of its pattern or the artistry with which it is fashioned. Some types such as Imperial Jasper and Madagascar Jasper do command premium prices since they are relatively rare.
Cause. Corrupted Gems had been normal Gems before the events that unfolded at the end of The Rebellion. As a last-ditch effort in the war for Earth the other Diamonds sent out a flash of bright light which corrupted Gems from both Homeworld and the Rebellion on Earth.
Healing: Steven has the power to heal animals and plants, as well as repair Gems and inanimate objects. He is shown to be capable of healing cracked gemstones as seen when he healed Lapis Lazuli in "Ocean Gem".

Black Diamond is a Homeworld Gem who was sent into exile by her sister, White Diamond, and the founder and leader of the Black Witches of the Black Coven.
Emmett's gift is extreme strength that surpasses a regular vampire. He is the strongest member of the Cullens, if not the entire world. But his strength can be easily conquered by a newborn vampire, such as Bella when she challenged him to arm wrestling.
Rosalie Hale is the adopted daughter of Carlisle and Esme Cullen, adoptive sister of Jasper Hale as well as Edward and Alice Cullen, and the wife of Emmett Cullen. She and Jasper are the only ones who don't take the surname of Cullen as they pass off as being biological siblings.

Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) is the oldest vampire in the Cullen family (or the Olympic Coven, as the Twilight wiki calls them) and the sire of several of the others. He was born in London in the 1640s, the son of an Anglican pastor and a mother who died in childbirth.
