In Jacob's case, he imprinted on Renesmee — who he affectionately dubbed Nessie — when she was a baby, so no, it doesn't mean he's in love with her. Jacob just has a strong bond to Renesmee and is more of a protector and as she gets older, will be a best friend, someone who's there for her when she needs it.
While Jacob insists his feelings for Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) will remain completely platonic until later in her life (as does Twilight author Stephenie Meyer), Bella (and most of the fandom) find their relationship to be unsettling at best.

So if freezing for a hybrid just means not aging anymore, then Renesmee could be perfectly capable of getting pregnant. The child would be half human, half vampire, and half wolf.
As a result, she not only gains immeasurable strength and good health, but her daughter, Renesmee, is born a vampire-human hybrid. Renesmee is special, because she is not an Immortal Child, or a child that was bitten by a vampire. Instead, Renesmee is born biologically.
He actually thought he'd never imprint because he loved Bella and he didn't believe he'd ever have the capacity to care any more about someone else. Then he made eye contact with her daughter, and that was it.
As it's explained in the novels and in the movies, imprinting is something the Quileute shape-shifters aka werewolves do that basically finds their soulmates. Members of the Quileute wolf-pack do age if they do not phase for a long time; Jacob's body has physically grown to the equivalent of a 25-year-old in Breaking Dawn but stops aging after that. Jacob is the largest and strongest of the pack.
However, as a half immortal, she will continue to grow until her full maturity at the age of about seven, at which point she will appear to be about seventeen (like her father Edward) and will cease to age (as shown by Nahuel in Breaking Dawn).
Officially, imprinting means that the Imprinter becomes whatever the Imprinted needs them to be - a guardian, a protector, a friend, a lover, what have you. I'm pretty sure that by Meyer having Jacob imprint on Renesmee, they would eventually start a relationship.
The Cullens are safe again, and Renesmee is able to stay with her family. Nahuel states that Renesmee will probably reach complete physical maturity around seven years after her birth, at which point she will stop aging and live to an unknown extent of years.
Edward says Renesmee is his niece, and that he and Bella are adopting her. Charlie, however, figures out the truth when he stares into Renesmee's chocolate brown eyes; his chocolate brown eyes. He agrees, however, to stick to the adoption as the public story to protect them.
Just before Jacob almost kisses Bella, he says "Kwop kilawtley," which means "stay with me forever" in Quileute.
The Jacob/Renesmee spin-off won't happen for awhile, as Stephenie Meyer is currently working on a Young Adult science fiction story.
