Chicks hatched from eggs stored in the sound field before incubation and chicks hatched in the sound field lived as well as chicks from eggs not subjected to the sound field either before or during incuba- tion. No differences could be detected in quality of chicks hatched.
Loud noise lowers egg production
In addition, studies have shown that loud noises such as found near airports, rail road tracks or loud hydraulic or pneumatic equipment and machinery close to the chickens leads to lower egg production, stunted growth, higher blood pressure, stress and fatigue in the chickens.
If you place cold eggs in a warm, humid incubator, condensation will form on them and lead to possible contamination or suffocation. Once the eggs are in the incubator, do not adjust the temperature or humidity for a few hours, unless the temperature exceeds 102°F. After 4 hours, make proper adjustments.

The first hypothesis is that the hen is just SO doggone proud of herself for laying that egg and SO relieved to have it plop out that she feels the need to broadcast that fact to the world. She is literally crowing with pride about her accomplishment.
Chicken Hearing Range
Interestingly, chickens have better low frequency hearing than humans. They can hear sounds in the 10-12,000 Hz range, while the human ear generally hears sounds in the 20-20,000 Hz range, meaning that chickens can hear sounds that are inaudible to humans.
Hens may lay fewer eggs due to light, stress, poor nutrition, molt or age. Some of these reasons are natural responses, while others can be fixed with simple changes and egg laying can return to normal.

Day 21 is the most common time for hatching, but if your eggs are showing no signs of pipping yet please, do not worry. Chicks can develop at different speeds and incubation times are affected by many variables including temperature variations. I've had chicks hatch as late as day 26. So don't give up too soon!
It is reasonable to expect a chick to hatch within 12-24 hours of pipping. Egg #1 certainly wasted no time at all from pip to hatch, breaking free in less than 12 hours.
It's likely that the chick will just hatch a little later. I have had chicks hatch as late as day 26, so don't despair. And do not be tempted to "help" the chick out of the egg. Nature will take its course, and trying to remove the shell before the chick is ready is more likely to kill it.
