Henry Creel (Vecna) was 12 years old when he murdered his mother and sister in 1959, a fact confirmed by the creators despite timeline inconsistencies with the subsequent stage play, which showed him as a high schooler, leading to confusion but ultimately solidifying his childhood act of violence before Dr. Brenner's involvement.
I don't understand this bc the duffer brothers confirmed Henry was 12 when he killed his family and went to the lab.
In the early 50s, Brenner tried to recreate the experiment in Nevada. A young Henry wandered into a cave where stolen piece of experimental equipment activated. Henry was pulled into Dimension X, returned 12 hours later, alive, changed, and touched by something ancient, the mind flare.
Henry Creel was born in Nevada in 1947 to Victor, a World War II veteran, and Virginia Creel, and had a younger sister, Alice.
Eleven (El) starts around 12 years old in Stranger Things Season 1 (set in 1983) and ages to about 16 or 17 by Season 5, while her actress, Millie Bobby Brown, was 12 filming Season 1 and is now in her early 20s, with the show's timeline advancing to late 1987 for the final season.
Before they embark into the Upside Down, Will comes out as gay to his family and close friends, explaining that Vecna showed him visions of his failed and distant relationships with his loved ones after they learnt the truth.
Yes, Millie Bobby Brown is generally listed as being around 5'3" (161 cm), though some sources mention 5'3" and a half (1.61 m) or 5'3¾", with slight variations depending on the source and time, but 5'3" is the most common measurement, sometimes with heels adding to her height.
In Stranger Things, several characters say the F-word, including Will Byers, Billy Hargrove, and most notably, Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) in a significant Season 4 moment when confronting Vecna, delivering a rare and impactful "You f***ed with the wrong family". Other instances come from characters like Billy (often possessed), and even faint or muffled uses have been noted from others like Jonathan.
Yes, according to the show's creators, Mike did realize that Will's "crush" in his coming-out speech referred to him, even though it wasn't explicitly stated in dialogue; his reaction shots and subsequent apology scene were designed to show he understood the depth of Will's feelings, though the payoff for their storyline was minimal in the finale.
Vecna (Henry Creel) is scared of a specific cave from his childhood because it's the site of his most traumatic memory: where he first encountered the Upside Down and the Mind Flayer, leading to his powers and transformation, a deeply traumatic event he tried to suppress, representing the innocent child he once was and the darkness that consumed him.
In its five seasons, "Stranger Things" killed off a handful of named characters. We ranked all the major deaths in the series by their level of sadness. Fan-favorite characters like Barb, Bob, and Eddie suffered some of the most heartbreaking fates.
In the series, Barb mysteriously vanishes, leading Nancy and Jonathan Byers to investigate her disappearance. It is later revealed that she was killed by the Demogorgon. Following an acknowledgment of Hawkins Lab's involvement in her death, she was given a proper funeral.
Terry's attempts to rescue her daughter lead to her being subjected to electroshock therapy by Brenner, leaving her in a permanent catatonic state. This backstory provides a deeper understanding of Eleven's origins and the circumstances that led to her unique abilities.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
Brown's Eleven has been romantically linked to Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) throughout Stranger Things. Off-screen, Brown is married to Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi. The couple quietly wed in May 2024 before exchanging vows again in Italy that October.
Peter was a fake name I believe the Duffers created for him, since they couldn't really refer to him as either Vecna, 001, or Henry Creel without pretty majorly spoiling a part of Season 4.
In Stranger Things Season 5, Eleven is generally considered to be 16 or 17 years old, aligning with the show's timeline set in late 1987, though some reports vary slightly between 16 and 17, with the character still being a teenager despite the actress, Millie Bobby Brown, being older. The final season picks up about four years after Season 1, with the main kids (Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will) around 16-17, matching the high school years.
Will Byers' love interest in Stranger Things is Mike Wheeler, with actor Noah Schnapp confirming Will is gay and has long-standing romantic feelings for Mike, a storyline intentionally built over the seasons, culminating in Will's coming out in Season 4 and continued development in the final season (Season 5) where he expresses this love and their bond deepens.
Eventually, she finally told him after the guilt was building up inside of her. Mike then storms out of the apartment and heads to Logan's condo to beat him up. Logan then tells him that she didn't just like the kiss, she loved it. Mike then ended things with Rachel, but they eventually reconciled.
The fourth season of Stranger Things confirmed something that fans of the series had long suspected: that Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), the awkward Hawkins, Indiana, kid whose disappearance in Season 1 was the catalyst for this nearly decade-long journey into the Upside Down, is gay.
Despite the youthful cast of Stranger Things, the use of the F-word is limited, with only three instances throughout the series. Will Byers, a generally soft-spoken character, shockingly utters the F-bomb after getting into a fight with his friends.

Actress Millie Bobby Brown has a hidden disability: she was born with partial hearing loss in one ear, which eventually faded to complete deafness on that side, requiring her to learn to act without relying on sound cues and often missing important instructions on set, though she embraces it as a challenge she overcame. She uses her experience to inspire others, emphasizing that disabilities don't stop you from pursuing passions like acting or singing.
