Half-Elves have long ears like elves. They live about 180 years.
An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old. Elves take their time doing things because of their long life span. So to them 100 years feels like what 20 years feels like to a Human.
After they have become adult, Half-Elves visibly age three times slower than adult Humans, and it is when they become at least 200 years old that their hair starts to turn white.
Narrative. Arwen was the youngest child of Elrond, lord of the Elvish sanctuary of Rivendell and leader of the High Elves remaining in Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age, and Celebrían, daughter of Galadriel, ruler of the Elvish forest realm of Lothlórien. Her elder brothers were the twins Elladan and Elrohir.
The first Elves to awaken were three pairs: Imin ("First") and his wife Iminyë, Tata ("Second") and Tatië, and Enel ("Third") and Enelyë. They walked through the forests, finding other pairs of Elves, who became their folk.
Half-elven (Sindarin singular Peredhel, plural Peredhil), are the children of the Union of Elves and Men. Half-elven are not a distinct race per se; rather, they were fertile offspring as the result of a union between Elves and Men.
Description: Half-elves stand taller than humans but shorter than elves. They inherit the lean build and comely features of their elven lineage, but their skin color is normally dictated by their human side. While half-elves retain the pointed ears of elves, theirs are more rounded and less pronounced.
If little ones find their Scout Elf sitting on something they need to use, like relaxing in their sink, lying on their bookbag or hanging on their clothes, then it is okay for parents to move the elf, so kids can complete their morning routine and elves can get back to their important job!
A fifty five year old elf is the same "physical age" as an eight year old human. So those humans will probably have to be training that elf child for a while.
Childhood. Elf mothers are with child for 1 year. Once born, elves' minds and bodies initially grow rapidly, advancing past the infant and toddler stage within the first year. Development then slows down and an elf is mentally in adolescence for roughly the next 49 years.
Dark elves live 300 years on average, with males being slightly more persistent than females. Their physical development is about as fast as that of humans, up until around 25 when their visual aging slows down to almost nothing.
Trivia. Half-elves can have children of their own. When they form families with other half-elves, their offspring will be half-elves themselves. However, if a half-elf has children with someone of different ancestry, even a member of their parental races, the results can vary.
A half-elf is just as capable of eating anything a human or elf could eat. In the end it comes down to whichever culture they were raised in. Whether it is with dwarves, elves, humans, half-orcs, gnomes, halflings, etc.
Do I need one Elf per child or one per household? The choice is yours. We have included two Nice List Certificates and two Letters to Santa in each kit, as these items are personal. All the other items can be shared as a family.

Half-elves are about the same size as humans, ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall.

Elves typically have four children or fewer. Fëanor and Nerdanel, who had seven sons, were a notable exception. Whenever the Eldar married, whether in youth or in later life, their children were produced within a relatively short time after their wedding.
Elves have the ability to live forever thanks to their immortality. Elves like Elrond, who was over 6000 years old in The Lord of the Rings, are not hard to come by. That being said, Elves who go into battle are aware of the risk to their immortality, willing to risk a long healthy life for the sake of a greater cause.

The Birth of an Elf Is Rare in Middle-earth
And it's exactly that: a choice. Unlike other races of Middle-earth, casual intercourse was not enough to conceive a child because, for Elves, it was a far more conscious effort that required, as Tolkien put it, a "share and strength of their being, in mind and in body."
Crisp apples, leafy green salads and even snow berries—a special fruit grown only at the North Pole—all occasionally become a part of the elves' well-balanced diet.
