You can undo a recently sent message for up to two minutes after sending it. Touch and hold the message bubble, then tap Undo Send.
Unsending a message is very similar to editing one, but this can only be done within two minutes of sending. To unsend a message: Hard press on the message bubble.
The recipient can read your message before you unsend it. If you unsend a message, it will disappear from the recipient's screen, but they'll be notified that you unsent it.

Chats in Group Chats are deleted by default after 24 hours. The new rules of the Chat apply for both you and your friend. You'll both see a message in the Chat that says the setting was changed. Please Note: If you switch from '24 Hours after Viewing' to 'After Viewing,' then previously viewed Chats will disappear.
