Bra sizes are based on your band size (the number) and your cup size (the letter). These measurements are usually determined by using a tape measure around your rib cage and bust. The number/letter is your bra size. Finding the right bra size is crucial for the right support and for a smooth comfortable fit.
Measure around your chest again this time placing the measuring tape at nipple level. This is your bust measurement. Get your cup size by subtracting your band size from your bust size. If the difference is a 1 your cup size is an A, 2 a B, 3 a C, etc.
For less than one inch you are a AA cup, for one inch you are an A cup, for two inches you are a B cup, for three inches you are C cup, for four inches you are a D cup and for five inches you are a DD cup.

41% of women said that a C cup would be their ideal size, followed by 25% who said that they would prefer to have a D cup, and 22% who favoured a B cup.
When talking about larger breast sizes, a D cup is one of the most common sizes. The D cup is one cup size bigger than the C cup, and is an easily found bra size when bra shopping.
The Smallest Size Of Bra: Uncovered
The smallest size of bra that is widely available is a 28AA. This bra has a 28 inch band, along with a bust that is less than one inch bigger than the ribcage.

In fact, the Guinness World Record for largest natural breasts belongs to New York native Annie Hawkins-Turner. Her chest-over-nipple measurement is 70 inches!
Globally, a natural female breast has an average size somewhere between a large "A" and a smaller "B" in the US size system. According to European or Australian classifications, this would be a "B".
Bra sizes in Australia and New Zealand are based on measurements in centimeters, with the number representing the band size and the letter representing the cups. Band sizes are measured tightly under bust, cups are measured loosely over the fullest part of the bust.
There's a gap at the top of the cups.
When you look down at your bra do you notice space between your breasts and the cup? If so, it's too big. If you aren't able to see any gaps while standing up, try leaning over while looking into a mirror. If there is extra space in your cups it's time for a new size.
Understanding “Ideal” Breast Size

When it comes to bra sizes for 13-year-old girls, a 34C would be considered above average. However, it's important to keep in mind that everyone's body is different and there's no "perfect" or "ideal" size when it comes to breasts.
What is an F Cup Size? If you are f cup breasts, it means that your bust measurement is 6 inches larger than the band measurement. Like other cup sizes, there are lots of differences between f cups. For instance, if your band size is 32 inches and your bust size is 38 inches, your breast size is 32F.
Bra Cup Sizes
The further down the alphabet a letter is, the larger the cup volume, starting with AA as the smallest.
A 32C is one cup size smaller than a 34C. That also means a 34 is two cup sizes bigger than a 30C, and so on.
If the bra fits and is comfortable for you, then yes, it is a normal size.
If your bust measurement and band measurement are the same number, you're an AA cup. If there's a 1-inch difference between bust and band you're an A cup; 2-inch difference is a B cup, 3 inches is a C cup, 4 inches is a D cup, and so on.
Go down a back size = go up a cup size. e.g. a 36DD becomes a 34E. If you go up a back size but stay the same cup size, you'll notice extra room in the cup.
The best way to define a “G cup” is to use a tape measure to get the size around your ribcage, and then around the fullest point of your bust. A G cup is roughly either 8 or 9 inches difference between your underbust and overbust measurements. We use UK sizing, and include a FF cup size, so we would say 9 inches.
The difference is truly in the name… DD or DDD are the US standard; E and F are used more internationally. As our range continues with a G cup, for example, we'll call it just that, a “G.”
