Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, put up a good fight against the Demon King. She gave everything she had and even lost both her arms during the fight. However, she didn't stay alive for quite long. She succumbed to her injuries and died shortly after.
1 Mitsuri & Obanai
Mitsuri had already entered the battle with grave injuries, so Obanai forced her onto the sidelines so she wouldn't get hurt anymore. Unfortunately, the Serpent Hashira also succumbed to his injuries. He and Mitsuri confessed their love and died together shortly after.
Iguro spent several chapters as one of the last two men standing against Muzan along with Tanjiro, fighting together to keep Muzan from escaping. Once Muzan was defeated, Iguro held a dying Mitsuri as his own lifeforce drained from him. After they professed their love for each other, they died in each other's arms.
Mitsuri also loses both of her arms in the process of ripping off Muzan's left arm.
Suddenly, Mitsuri Kanroji grabs Muzan's left arm and rips it clean off his body in anger sacrificing her own arms in the process. Sanemi Shinazugawa appears and quickly chops off Muzan's right arm as well with the Wind Breathing, Eight Form: Primary Gale Slash.
However, looks can be very deceptive — Mitsuru Kanroji actually boasts one of the highest raw strength levels in the Hashira. Most viewers who are underrating the abilities of this Hashira will be in for a rude awakening once Mitsuri shows precisely how much power she houses in her body.
Shinobu Kocho's tragic backstory is one of the most heart-wrenching in Demon Slayer. She and her sister, Kanae, were orphaned at a young age after their parents were killed by a demon. Thankfully, Gyomei Himejima came in the nick of time to save them.

Shizuka is seen often teasing Sanemi and making him annoyed, nevertheless, the two had still created a strong bond and relationship with each other. Eventually, after knowing each other for a while, Shizuka finally ended up having the courage and confessed, leading to them getting married after awhile.
In Chapter 205, we see Obanai and Mitsuri reincarnated and married, as they promised before they died, and they are running a restaurant together. In the volume extras it is revealed that they have five kids.

The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
The flashback also reveals that Yoriichi had a twin brother named Michikatsu Tsugikuni, who became a Demon Slayer but later turned into a demon and became Upper Moon One, Kokushibo.
The last member, Upper Moon Four Nakime, ends up being killed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to stop the Dimensional Infinity Fortress from being controlled by his enemies.
1. Gyomei Himejima. Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira, is the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer corps in terms of strength and swordsmanship. He is the only person who uses spiked flails and an axe instead of standard swords to kill demons.
The only Demon he despises the most is the Upper Rank Two: Doma. It is quite a shocker that the second most potent Demon in the Demon Slayer is not Muzan's favorite.
Shinobu Kocho is probably the weakest when it comes to raw strength. However, she modified her katana in a manner which allowed her to stab her opponents. The tip of the sword is laced with poison that she uses to kill the demons.
Gyomei is extremely emotional and caring and is always concerned for those around him. This could be the main reason why he is always crying in the Demon Slayer series.
Despite her petite appearance, Mitsuri Kanroji has a special muscular composition that makes her muscles eight times denser than an ordinary human's. She is also more flexible than the other Hashira. These two strengths balance out her being the slowest runner out of all the Hashira.
Obanai Iguro is one of the harsher Hashira members. He demanded that Giyuu be punished for allowing Nezuko to get away unharmed, and later restrained Tanjiro as he tried to help his sister. He hates demons and has little regard for his fellow Hashira, except Mitsuri Kanroji later on.
