Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla's clothes are not allowed to be cleaned in washing machines—everything is hand washed. When they sent their clothing away to be cleaned, they found that some items of clothing were kept as souvenirs.
Sometimes, the Queen of Britain, Her Royal Majesty Elizabeth II, needs to change clothes up to five times a day – in the case of big celebrations, for example. And not simply the dress she's wearing but the shoes, gloves, jewelry, medals and other accessories and, most important, her hats.

But just what did Queen Elizabeth eat on a day-to-day basis? Well, according to Darren McGrady, a former chef in the Royal kitchens, the Queen stuck to the same foods most days. This may come as a surprise to many, but the Queen was clearly a creature of habit.
It's also reported that the Queen liked to read a little in bed before turning in, which is proven to be a great aid in relaxing the mind before sleep.
The Royal Family has opened its books to show how the Queen receives her money. A taxpayer-funded payment, known as the Sovereign Grant, is paid to the Royal Family each year - but it's not the Queen's only source of income.

The Queen enjoyed outdoor life. As well as riding well into her 90s, she also took great pleasure walking in the countryside and spending time with her dogs. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh both loved Scottish country dancing.
