Nick and Abigail both have crushes each other at the beginning of the game, but are too shy to make any move. However, Nick soon is given the perfect opportunity to try to show his feelings to Abigail as they gather kindling.
It's no secret that The Quarry's Abigail and Nick have feelings for one another. Depending on the parameters selected, players can also make them lovers or keep them as friends. Due to their mutual shyness, Abi and Nick find it challenging to express their sentiments or even flirt with one another.
Abigail is then given another chance to kiss Nick. (if she didn't call him back.) Whether the two kiss or not, they will hear growling nearby and go to investigate.
Regardless of choices throughout the game, Nick from The Quarry becomes a Werewolf after being bitten by Werewolf Caleb in chapter 3.
Then Abi will get a hold of a shotgun, and you have the choice of shooting Nick or not. It is best to shoot Nick since he will not die and run, but not shooting will lead to Nick decapitating Abigail. The next time you see Nick, he is in a monster form in Chapter 8.
However, much like all characters in The Quarry, with the right choices and decisions across each Chapter, it is entirely possible for Nick to be saved and ultimately cured of the werewolf curse.
Abigail, Ryan, and Kaitlyn are the only protagonists who can get infected, but never turn into werewolves.
7 Nick: The Nice Guy
Nick is the closest thing to an Everyman in The Quarry, with him being fairly unremarkable in terms of defining character traits. He's considered by the group as a nice guy with many of the characters rooting for him and Abigail to finally act upon their mutual crush.
As the discussion rounds off, we'll get an interruption, this time giving us the opportunity to kiss Nick. If we kiss him, the exchange between Nick and Abi will end, starting the next part of the scene (you can skip to it here).
Laura Kearney is one of the nine main protagonists and a playable character in The Quarry. She is one of the nine counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp and the girlfriend of Max.
To keep her alive and get the Achievement, activate the Rewind option from the title menu. This way, after Abi dies, the Rewind is triggered and players can use a life to go back in time to the beginning of the scene and shoot Nick to save Abigail.
Later in the series in The Diploma Mill Will gives Nick a ticket out of town and they talk on a bench. They then kiss at the end of the scene.

Depending on your choices, you can see a romantic relationship between the two characters form. Dylan and Ryan are hilarious together. Supermassive Games has included an optional same-sex kiss in The Quarry between camp counselors Dylan and Ryan, making it a first for the developers.
After the kiss, Emma thanks Nick and tells Abi that he was good. Abi appears uncomfortable and walks away into the forest.
It is still possible to save Dylan if the monster bites his hand by using Ryan to amputate it before the infection spreads. This is best done by choosing the CONFIDENT dialogue option and then the CHAINSAW to successfully cut Dylan's arm off.
Don't Stop Laura
Laura shoots the werewolf, which turns out to be Nick. As she used silver bullets, the shot will kill Nick. Laura will then be captured by Travis who heard the gunshot, moving the scene on. You'll now go to the fortune teller, so click here to skip ahead.
1. Laura Kearney. On top of the list of the best characters on The Quarry, we have Laura Kearney. A veterinary medical student voiced by Siobhan Williams, who goes through a series of mayhem as a result of trusting Max, her boyfriend.

If Abigail is alive and Emma gets infected in Chapter 4, Kaitlyn will shoot her in chapter 8. Kaitlyn will have the choice to either shoot her with a silver shot or regular. If it's a regular shot, it will cause Emma to escape still infected but alive.
