Fifteen hundred years after Noah's great flood, King Solomon was receiving some advice from his father, King David, who said this, ” … for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts” 1 Chronicles 28:9. In other words, “Be aware of what's in your head, son. God sees it.”
He also speaks to us through the glory of His creation. Additionally, He speaks to us through His Holy Spirit and through dreams, visions and our thoughts. Further, God will use events and circumstances to speak with us. More often than not, God uses the people He has placed in our lives to speak to us.
God knows all.
God's view is not bound by time (see D&C 38:2). In addition, He had an eternity of personal experience with us before we came to this earth, so He knows the inclinations and character of each of us better than we do.

“Change your mind” is the central theme of Jesus' first sermon (Matt. 4:17). Jesus challenged people to change their thinking because regardless how many times you read through the Bible, if your mind doesn't change, you will simply impose your biases and labels on the words you read.
Through the scriptures, we are taught that God will always hear our prayers and will answer them if we address Him with faith and real intent. In our hearts we will feel the confirmation that He does hear us, a feeling of peace and calm.
Silence and solitude are essential aspects of contemplative prayer, a practice of prayer that waits on God and trusts in God's present love and grace. While silence can be especially helpful in becoming attentive to God while praying, it is hardly an excuse to remain aloof from the needs of our neighbors.
Remember that intrusive thoughts are not sins. These thoughts aren't necessarily a reflection of your true beliefs. It's natural to have fleeting thoughts and images that don't mesh with your beliefs and ideals. Most people can dismiss these thoughts.
The good news is that God doesn't care what people think. In fact, He cares more about what's going on inside us than what's going on with the outside of us. He cares about our goals, what we secretly desire and what our minds meditate on.
The Bible agrees that God knows your heart. God said to Samuel that He sees not as man sees: “man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7 ).
God chooses Israel and ultimately Jesus, and this results in the exact opposite of God favoring one group to the exclusion of all others. Instead, God works out his plan to extend his love to all the world through one group or individual.
Christ even suggests that God sees into your heart and knows your intentions. Love God and love neighbor as you love yourself. This is so simple and so incredible that if you're not careful, you'll miss it altogether.
He Hears Your Prayers
Whatever it is you are wanting, whatever you are asking Him for, He hears you. If He does not seem to be answering, do not give up. Everything will happen in His timing. God knows what is best for you and He hears the desires of your heart.

Divine language, the language of the gods, or, in monotheism, the language of God (or angels), is the concept of a mystical or divine proto-language, which predates and supersedes human speech.
If you know you would run from God and be angry if he never answered this prayer request, that means your heart is not ready to receive it. But if you are truly willing to serve God and love him fully even if he never gives you the thing you are asking him for, this is a great sign you are being prepared to receive it.
“So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up” (Galatians 6:9 HCSB). God is omniscient. That means he knows everything, including everything about you and your life.
In times of sadness or uncertainty, sometimes it feels as though nobody could possibly understand what we're going through. But we are never completely alone. Jesus fully understands how we feel because He has felt it, too.
Paul tells the Corinthians that that, “whatever you do, do all for the glory of God.” Whatever you watch, whatever you listen to, do it for the glory of God.
Does God Understand OCD? To clear things up, God does understand OCD and empathizes, helps, and comforts those with this disorder and other forms of mental illness. God would never punish someone with OCD, but unfortunately, many people born with this condition believe this to be the case.
Allah doesn't punish us for having bad thoughts, but rewards us for not acting upon them.
He hears our cries of unhappiness, pain, frustration, exhaustion, and fear. We can be honest with Him. His listening ear is always open to our prayers. His loving heart wants to embrace us as we cry on His shoulder.
