The Autistic Empire has released a high-resolution, professionally designed, autistic pride flag under the Creative Commons free culture licence permitting any use of this flag, including commercial use, as long as attribution is made to the Autistic Empire (see details below).
Multi-colored puzzle piece ribbon
As previously mentioned, the symbol that most people associate with autism is the multi-colored, interlocking puzzle piece. This symbol was created by 15 people, some of which were autistic (or people with autism) and others were autism advocates.
Light it Up Blue
On world autism awareness day, April 2nd, you may see plenty of blue being shown off to support autism awareness. The color blue's association to autism originated with the autism advocacy association known as Autism Speaks.
Autistic Pride Day is characterized by the rainbow infinity symbol. This symbol signifies the diversity of individuals with ASD and the endless opportunities and differences within the autistic community.
The brightly colored pieces are also meant to represent the diversity of people with autism. The colors associated with autism are typically blue and yellow. Blue is often used to represent calm and serenity, while yellow is often used to represent happiness and joy.
Light Blue
The “Light It Up Blue” campaign championed by Autism Speaks has popularized the link between the color blue and autism. The campaign occurs every April 2nd, which is set out as World Autism Awareness Day.
The color blue, associated with calmness and acceptance, is the primary color designated for autism. Its popularity also stemmed from the worldwide Autism Speaks initiative, Light It Up Blue. On April 2nd, you'll see a plethora of blue, as this campaign calls for people to wear blue in support of autism awareness.
The rainbow infinity sign is the most popular symbol for Autism and the autistic community among the community itself.

Blue is one of the most used colors to show support for autism awareness.
More recent research has used the house mouse (Mus musculus) to model autism because it is a social species. Other strains of mice used include mu opioid receptor knockout mice, as well as Fmr1 knockout mice; the latter are also used as animal models of Fragile X syndrome.
The first ADHDgender flag was coined by FANDOM user Oog22 on 8 July 2020. The uneven strips and rainbow colors depict the neurological condition ADHD; the butterfly because it's often used as an ADHD symbol. An alternate ADHDgender flag was created by an anonymous wiki user on October 14, 2020.

Gold. The chemical symbol for gold is Au, which is rather handily the first two letters of autism. It's used to show the bright and shining future for people with autism, rather than a lifetime being seen as suffering and being told to fit into our surroundings.
