If I dial *67 can I still get through if I'm blocked? Based on our tests in April of 2022, this still works. If you dial *67 then the recipient's full ten-digit phone number, your call will ring through. The recipient's caller ID will say 'Unknown Caller' or something similar.
It sounds like the person you are calling may be blocking restricted calls, so you can not call them anonymously. If you must call the person, try calling them without using *67 so that your number shows up on their Caller-ID.
Use *67 to hide your phone number
The free process hides your number, which will show up on the other end as “Private” or “Blocked” when reading on caller ID. You will have to dial *67 each time you want your number blocked.
You might be wondering how this magic trick works. It's surprisingly simple: The moment you dial *67, your phone sends a signal to your provider requesting a caller ID block. From that point forward, your outgoing calls become shrouded in mystery, appearing as "private" or a "blocked number" on the recipient's end.
If your number is blocked dialing *67 before you dial your blocker will make your number show as private or restricted or unknown. The person who blocked you might pick up out of curiosity but after they find it's you they can block all future unknown calls from coming through if they haven't already done so.
The first one is *69, which traces the number of the last person who called you. It works even for anonymous or hidden calls, so you can get the phone number and the exact time they called. Once you have that hidden phone number, you can block it on your phone, so it can't call you anymore.

The Service Code *67 has always been used to block delivery of the Caller ID information to the called party. It's a built-in privacy feature in the Switch Network.

If *69 does not work:
Your phone must be set to touch tone for Last Call Return to work. Not hearing any beeps when dialing out is a sign that it might be set to pulse. Switching between touch tone and pulse depends on the model of your phone.
Dial *67. This code will block your number so that your call shows up as an "Unknown" or "Private" number. Enter the code before the number that you're dialing, like so: *67-408-221-XXXX. This may work on cell phones and home phones, but it won't necessarily work on businesses.
According to Macworld.com, if you own an iPhone and want to be more certain that your number has been blocked you can also try to call with a masked number by dialing *67 before dialing the phone number you want to call. If this time the phone rings or the person picks up it means your number probably has been blocked.

Does * 69 work anymore? Yes, *69 works on cell phones as well as landline phones. Dialing *69 will automatically call back the last number that called you. Keep in mind that this feature may not be available on all cell phone networks, and it may not work for calls that are blocked or private.
Dial *67 Before the Number You Want to Call
Then type (or paste) it into the phone app manually, with *67 at the beginning of it. As an example, if you wanted to block your phone number when calling 555 555 5555, you'd need to dial *67 555 555 5555.
Star 69 refers to "last-call return," the Calling Feature Vertical service code *69 keyed on a landline telephone set in order to return the call of the last one to ring (in Canada and the United States).

Block unknown callers (Android)
However, unlike with iPhones, these calls will be blocked entirely rather than going to voicemail. To block unknown callers on Android, tap the Phone icon, then tap the three dots icon; tap Settings > Block numbers, then toggle Block Unknown Callers to on.

Dialing ##002# deactivates any conditional or unconditional call forwarding settings on your account and also deletes any data such as messages or voicemails that were previously diverted to another number. This code only applies to phones on GSM networks such as AT&T or T-mobile.
