Harry, Dumbledore and Snape all share the same attitude, which is not to fear death. The reason for this is that, unlike Voldemort, they believe that life continues after death, but also that for them there are higher values than saving your own life at any cost.
Was Severus Snape afraid to die, and what were his last thoughts in his final moments? He probably somewhat welcomed death, or, at least, viewed it as something of a relief, like a great exhale, after having figuratively held his breath for thirty-eight years.
The Reddit thread agrees Snape's Boggart may revolve around the person who mattered most to him: Lily Potter. Snape's unrequited love for Lily lead to his greatest fear coming true, a fact that wasn't revealed until The Deathly Hallows.
Those tears from Snape were because he had just been bitten by Nagano but he was also thinking about Lily and how he was going to be with her therefore, his tears were partially caused by his memories with Lily.
Severus Snape was bitten several times by Nagini. Her venom was surging through his veins. The closest real venomous snake Nagini resembles is a pit viper. The venom is excruciatingly painful.
Even with his efforts to protect her, Snape felt responsible for Lily's death at Voldemort's hands. Snape's memories then reveal that Dumbledore had impetuously tried to use the Gaunt ring, which had been cursed by Voldemort, and had been suffering from a powerful curse.
12. Snape's Last Words. In the [Deathly Hallows] book, Snape's dying words to Harry were "Look at me". Right then we did not realize the significance of his words but in the very next chapter when Harry goes through Snape's memories in the Pensieve, he comes to know how much Snape loved Lily.
Professor Snape is dead on Voldemort's orders, and Harry saw it all. In his dying moments, he told Harry to take his memories and look at him one last time. Voldemort's voice then sounded through the corridors, challenging Harry to meet him in the Forbidden Forest in an hour. This is the end.
Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa was cold, cunning and devoted to the Dark Lord. But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
Harry also happened to be Snape's least favorite student.
It's a word that gained so much more clarity and tragedy after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows revealed that the nefarious Professor Severus Snape was actually serving a nobler cause: protecting Harry from Voldemort out of love for Snape's childhood friend Lily Evans.
In The Deathly Hallows Part 2, Voldemort meets Snape at the Boathouse and tells him the Elder Wand doesn't seem to work properly for him. He concludes that, because Snape killed Dumbledore, the Elder Wand belongs to him. So, Voldemort had to kill Snape for the wand's allegiance to switch.
He did not even wish he had chosen differently — he believed he had made the only reasonable choice. He felt what he said, regret. Because he had to kill his most useful servant. His other Death Eaters either fled or were imprisoned when Voldemort was 'half-dead'.
Dumbledore now knows what he meant by going further than anyone else in overcoming death. Worse still, he now knows or at least strongly suspects that Harry is also a horcrux, and that he will therefore have to die in order to kill Voldemort for good.
Severus Snape was Harry's most hated teacher and went to school with his parents. He's surrounded by mystery over whether he's on the side of the Order of the Phoenix or Lord Voldemort. JK Rowling tweeted: Snape died for Harry out of love for Lily. Harry paid him tribute in forgiveness and gratitude.

He is also revealed to be a double agent for Albus Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix. But many people forget that he also invented a number of spells. In the Harry Potter movies, Snape came up with the Sectumsempra curse when he was a student at Hogwarts, and it's known to cause painful lacerations on the target.
In order to conjure the avada kedavra curse, you have to want to kill your victim. We all know that Voldemort could easily kill a child without an ounce of remorse... but not Snape. Snape didn't want to kill Dumbledore, and this was why the spell was blue instead of the usual green.
Harry, on the other hand, believed Snape to be a loyal Death Eater and the murderer of Dumbledore. Harry held Snape responsible for Dumbledore's death and would not have believed anything Snape said. It was more effective to give Harry the tears that he could put in the Pensieve and see the memories for himself.
Now, as firmly established, Snape was not the greatest fan of Harry, but that didn't mean that he ever stopped loving Lily. Dumbledore was surprised that Snape seemed to care for the boy. With a swish of his wand, Snape conjured up a Patronus – Lily's Patronus, a doe. 'Always,' he said.
Her leaving Snape wasn't a sign of her being a bad friend but rather that their interests no longer clashed as he was studying something that Lily despised. They just grew apart over time, and that was no fault of Lily's.
