Instead of using commands, plugins from uMod can help you change the time in Rust. There are two main ones that players use, Skip Night Vote and Time of Day. Both of these achieve the same goal, but through different ways.
How Long Does Night Last in Rust. In official Rust servers and community/modded servers with default settings, the night lasts 15 minutes.
A day in Rust is approximately 1 real-world hour. During each day there are 1200 seconds, which is the equivalent of 20 minutes of real-time. This makes a day in Rust last 48 real-world minutes. Days also have a specific start and end, which is synchronized with real-world UTC time.
You want to access the God Mode only once and without a desktop shortcut? Then just press the shortcut “Windows + R”, type shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} in the Run dialog and press “Enter” to bring up the God Mode menu.
To access the console, all the player needs to do is tap "F1." A window will then open, allowing the player to type inputs. Using the console is simple, and the only thing players are likely to get hung up on is what to do with commands containing "true/false" statements.
In my honest (and unbiased) opinion, I can say that Rust is a better experience than DayZ. The unique log-out system, enjoyable gameplay loop, easy-to-access resource gathering, and consistent content updates just make an all-around great game.

It's a measure to prevent people from using their gamma to see during the night, Rust has some image noise that becomes louder the darker it gets. You can try to use your gamma to see but the noise makes stuff actually become more black, so it's gonna be dark anyway. It's the game design.
On any platform, every Rust server has the same functionality. On the last Thursday of each month, the Rust wipe will occur once. Additionally, Rust wipes begin at the same time, 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST/7 p.m. BST. Regardless of the server area or time zone, this is applicable.

Rust is no different and the Steam Auth Timeout can occur when a player's connection to a server and the game's client disconnects.
If you have a sleeping bag or bed set up somewhere on the map, you can choose one of those to respawn at. Regardless of which you choose, on coming back to life, you will end up automatically asleep until you press a button to wake.
Rust is also being constantly refined and updated with new features/concepts, which means that it's fun to play now but will be even more fun in the future! Thirdly, Rust provides a unique gaming experience because of its social aspect.
Rust was initially created as a clone of DayZ, a popular mod for ARMA 2, with crafting elements akin to those in Minecraft. The objective of Rust is to survive in the wilderness using gathered or stolen materials. Players must successfully manage their hunger, thirst, and health, or risk dying.
Receiving Reports
When a player makes a report using the F7 dialog that report will be sent to Facepunch, there are also tools to receive these reports for your own custom servers. This should help you quickly respond to issues players encounter when playing on your server.
