Foster, relative and kinship carers are volunteers, so they're not paid a wage. The care allowance is provided by the NSW Government to help address the costs of caring for a child.
Can I be paid to care for a family member? Whilst someone is mentally capable, it is of course up to them what they do with their money and whether they want to pay a relative to provide their care. However, that cost must be affordable, sustainable and reasonable in relation to the amount of care they receive.

If you can't account for everything you spend, or you use the money for things not in your care plan, you could be asked to pay the money back. You can't normally use direct payments to pay for informal care from a spouse, partner or close relative who lives with you, unless they're registered as a carer.
A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a family member or friend who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, cannot cope without their support. Many people do not see themselves as family carers. It normally takes two years for people to recognise themselves as being a carer.

Something that can help a mom make money from home is the possibility to apply for remote jobs. The main idea is to find something you're good at to help you make money. Look at freelance writers and designers for a good example of this type of work.
Most family caregivers aren't paid for their work, but receiving compensation for daily assistance could benefit millions. You may be able to get paid for taking care of elderly parents at home through Medicaid, veterans benefits, long-term care insurance policies, or other state-specific programs.
What is Carer's Allowance? If you spend at least 35 hours a week caring for someone with an illness or disability, you may be eligible for extra money called Carer's Allowance. It is paid at a rate of £76.75 per week (2023/24).
Generally, direct payments for carers are a one-off payment given to support the carer to have some time to look after their own wellbeing. For example, the payment could be used to go to the gym, or pay for driving lessons or a break away. These are sometimes called a carer direct payment or carer budget payment.
The sender or the payer is the person who holds the account where the money will be sent from. If a family member, friend, or third party is paying for you, the name you include in the request must be the one stated in their bank records or card.
Carer Allowance is $144.80 each fortnight. There is no Health Care Card for the person you provide care for.

If you're a pensioner currently receiving support through Centrelink, you may be eligible for extra help with bills and medicine costs through the Pension Supplement. This supplement is a combined payment of Pharmaceutical Allowance, Utilities Allowance, GST Supplement and Telephone Allowance.
How long will my claim take to process? If you provide all the necessary information when you lodge the claim, you should receive a response from Centrelink within 12 weeks of lodging.
Consistent with most other payments, Carer Allowance will be payable to applicants from the date of claim, or the date they first contact Centrelink indicating their intent to claim.
The Government announced on 1 February 2022 that an aged care workforce bonus of up to $800 will be paid to eligible aged care staff in Government subsidised home care and residential care.
