He does hear you and the Bible says in Psalm 119:68 that He is good and what He does is good. So trust Him and His timing. Remember, He has promised to never leave or abandon you. God is a perfect Father and will always do what is best, even if it does not feel that way to us at the time.
Through the scriptures, we are taught that God will always hear our prayers and will answer them if we address Him with faith and real intent. In our hearts we will feel the confirmation that He does hear us, a feeling of peace and calm. We can also feel that everything will be fine when we follow the Father's will.
God Hears You
He hears our cries of unhappiness, pain, frustration, exhaustion, and fear. We can be honest with Him. His listening ear is always open to our prayers. His loving heart wants to embrace us as we cry on His shoulder.
God doesn't communicate with us the way we communicate with one another. He communicates from His Spirit to your spirit, and then your spirit communicates what you hear to your mind. That is what we call an inward witness.
You can be confident that God will hear the prayers in your head as he listens to your inner thoughts. So, if you weep, be comforted to know that God sees your tears, He values your sorrow, and He will one day remove every tear from your life. And, in the meantime, as Rich Mullins—in his song, “If I Stand”— wrote, “If I weep, let it be as a man who is longing for his home.”

God sends us the warning signs but we trivialize them; we convince ourselves that we can handle whatever is coming, that if we survived the last time, we can do it again. Through His Word, God reminds us to take caution and be alert. How gracious is He to speak to us through His Word.
