No, not all Sith were former Jedi; while prominent Sith like Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) and Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku) were fallen Jedi, many others, such as Darth Maul and Darth Sidious (Palpatine), were never Jedi, having been raised or trained directly in Sith traditions from the start, as seen in the canon where some Sith Lords are born to the Sith species or trained as children by other Sith. The Sith were originally dark-side exiled Jedi, but over millennia, the order evolved, incorporating others, and most Sith Lords throughout history were not former Jedi.
Guided by their egoistic philosophy based on ruling by seizing power and armed with taboo Dark Side techniques, the former Jedi exiles reemerged to menace the galaxy as the Sith Order, aiming to conquer the Galactic Republic and exact revenge against the Jedi.
Some members of the Sith species were taken from their Korriban homeworld in this time, to eventually become some of the first Je'daii.
A Dark Jedi can become a Sith, and a Sith may never have been a Jedi (although Dooku and Anakin were). A Dark Jedi is simply a Jedi that has fallen to the dark side, they are not automatically Sith, and it is possible they could even be directly hostile to any Sith.
The answer, revealed in Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, rewrote much of what we thought we knew. Rey is the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious or Sheev Palpatine—not through a traditional lineage, but through a failed clone named Dathan, Rey's father.
Darth Maul is the weakest. Bane was strong : he killed all the Sith and lots of Jedi.
The Lost Twenty, also known as the The Lost, was a name given to the group of twenty Jedi Masters who left the Jedi Order throughout its history. According to Yula Braylon of the Jedi High Council, the Lost Twenty became disillusioned with the Jedi way of life.
Qimir has already been calling himself Darth Venamis, and is ready to officially be a Sith Lord Apprentice, but, is also already conspiring to get a pupil of his own, & eventually kill his own master as well.
The clone commando RC-1136, known as Darman Skirata, got Jedi Knight Etain Tur-Mukan pregnant during the Clone Wars, resulting in their son, Venku Skirata, a Force-sensitive child born outside the Jedi Code's restrictions. Their forbidden relationship and child's birth were detailed in the Republic Commando novels, highlighting the complexities of clone troopers' development and the strictures of the Jedi Order, as Etain was killed shortly after Order 66 while protecting her family.
In Legends, probably the most unusual species to join the Jedi were the Iron Knights - a silicon based species that looked like shards of crystal. To function in galactic society and as Jedi, they used modified droids to serve as humanoid bodies.
Despite being called "purebloods", Sith in SWTOR are far more human than they are Sith; their genome is almost pure human. As an independent species, the Sith are extinct. All that's left are the hybrids.
Within a generation, however, the deaths of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader marked the end of the Sith Lords. Though the Sith went extinct, they still had a powerful legacy, and many continued to follow their teachings.
The most famous case of a Jedi being capable of bringing another Force users who had fallen to the Dark Side of the Force back to the Light is of course Luke Skywalker, whose compassion, incorruptible nature and pure love for his father brought Anakin back from the dark side and allowed him to bring back the balance to ...
No, he was never a Jedi/padawan/youngling trained by Yoda... Even if you ignore all the books and lore beyond the films themselves, he couldn't have been since none of the Jedi knew he had any force knowledge/sensitivity until Anakin tells Mace Windu that he has 'knowledge of the force'.
After Skywalker sacrificed himself to save the Resistance, Rey assumed his mantle as the last Jedi and became the apprentice of General Leia Organa.
Darth Vader is not a credible threat to Palpatine and hasn't really shown an inclination to overthrowing and killing his master, which defeats the purpose of the Rule of Two. Luke, though, would be both a credible threat, and more likely to attempt to overthrow his master when he feels he is in the position to do so.
Though there was some debate among the fans that Anakin Skywalker's son, Luke Skywalker, was actually the Chosen One since he caused his father to destroy Darth Sidious, the debate was settled when George Lucas himself confirmed in an interview that Anakin, even after becoming Darth Vader, was still officially the ...
I genuinely believe ahsoka was one of yoda's favourite Jedi ever!!!
In Star Wars lore, Order 37 was a grim Clone Trooper contingency plan to capture a wanted individual (often a Jedi) by taking a civilian population hostage, locking down the area, and threatening mass execution if the target wasn't surrendered, making it a horrific tactic used by the Empire to force Jedi compliance. It was considered more brutal than Order 66 because it targeted civilians directly, forcing Jedi to often turn themselves in to save innocent lives, as seen on planets like Bellassa.
Haja Estree posed as a Jedi. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the human male Haja Estree resided on the planet Daiyu, working as a con artist.
Darth Vectivus. He basically got all the power he wanted and then retired to live with his family and friends and died peacefully, none of the Sith backstabbing.
It's pretty clear that Dooku is meant to be a step above Maul. The only edge Maul has is durability and raw explosive physicality due to being much younger but it's not something Dooku wouldn't handle IMO. If Episode 1 Obi and Season 7 Ahsoka can outplay Maul then what hope does he have against Dooku?
In canon it was Kirak Infil'a , Cere Junda, Obi-Wan and Lord Momin . All messed him up quite badly with Kirak winning round 1 but losing round 2 and Momin cutting off his arm. Obi-Wan actually beat Vader. In Legends it was Shaa Koon, An'ya Kuro, a clone of Maul and Galen Marek.
