Walter White (Bryan Cranston) During the first series of Breaking Bad the lead character, Walter White, is diagnosed with cancer. As the side effects of his chemotherapy kick in, Walter shaves the rest of his hair off. However after being told his cancer is in remission, Walter chooses to maintain his bald style.
Walt regains his hair in the main timeline for the first time since Season 1's "Crazy Handful of Nothin'", although he was seen with hair in a few flashbacks. Walt and Skyler still have the same last names since Walt was named Lambert and Skyler goes by her maiden name, which is Lambert too.
Jesse also has his head buzzed, which was actor Aaron Paul's idea because he felt it was appropriate for the inner turmoil his character was experiencing.
Walt, the trained scientist, calls himself “Heisenberg” after the Heisenberg Uncertainly Principle by the German physicist Werner Heisenberg, who posited that the location and momentum of a nuclear particle cannot be known at the same time.
It is no coincidence that Walt encompasses all nine characteristics of having a narcissistic personality disorder, as outlined in DSM-5. This shows that the more wealth he obtains, the further into narcissistic personality disorder he falls.
Throughout Breaking Bad, Jesse finds himself constantly suffering as a result of his involvement in Walter's business. He's beaten, nearly killed multiple times, imprisoned, and suffers severe anxiety and depression as a result of his experiences.
The sides of his personality — sociopath and family man, scientist and killer, rational being and creature of impulse, entrepreneur and loser — are not necessarily as contradictory as we might have supposed. Much to his own surprise, Jesse found himself alive and well in the desert, having miraculously survived the fall but inexplicably missing an eye.
The finale did give Jesse a happy ending of sorts when Walt, finally showing something like remorse for what he'd done to his former student, set him free. But our final image of Jesse was behind the wheel, screaming, gunning it down backroads to make his escape. It's an ending, but it's hardly closure.
Jesse was severely beaten on multiple occassions, sometimes maybe just for fun. His most prominebt scar on his face is probably the result of the first day when they interogatted him. His face was extremely damaged.
It's revealed in Season 5 that Ted ended up hospitalized with severe neck trauma. He has to keep his head in a huge protective brace and his head was completely shaved.
The episode, season, and series ends with Gene Takavic getting caught by the authorities and, under his legal name of Saul Goodman, getting sentenced to prison for the crimes he committed in Breaking Bad.
While a private plane helped to jettison Cranston in and out of El Camino in between his Broadway turns, there was still the matter of the actor's physical appearance. Unable to shave his head or grow a moustache due to his Network commitments, Cranston had to don a bald cap and face facial fuzz.
She is highly intelligent and capable at accounting and money laundering, allowing her to deduce Walter's second life with little to no information at her disposal. Disgusted by Walter's moral decline which she has fallen victim to, Skyler is a pragmatist willing to do whatever it takes to keep her family together.

After Walt tries one last time to intimidate Saul into doing his bidding, his cancer rears its ugly head in a series of coughs that bring him to his knees and let Saul know big bad Heisenberg is no more before he leaves for his new life in Omaha.
