Vader addresses Kenobi from beneath his damaged helmet. Nine years prior to the Battle of Yavin, Vader engaged in a duel against his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi on Tatooine. At the end of the duel, Obi-Wan damaged Vader's chest plate and cut open half his helmet, revealing the left side of his scarred face.
How did Kylo Ren obtain Darth Vader's mask in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"? It's believed it was obtained by Luke Skywalker when he was collecting Force artifacts throughout the galaxy and kept at his Jedi Academy. When Kylo Ren burned it down, he took the mask, beliving it was his by right of lineage.
While the back of Darth Vader's head was first teased in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, the first full reveal was at the end of Return of the Jedi, when Luke Skywalker took off the mask. Anakin Skywalker had clearly been burnt.
Luke told C-3PO he would be right along, but first lit fire to the armor in the hopes that the mistakes of Darth Vader would be shed and that the name of Anakin Skywalker would become a light to guide the new Jedi for generations.
Darth Vader Has Claustrophobia
In addition to causing content pain and itchiness, the suit is so constricting that it causes him to suffer from claustrophobia. He can only find relief by meditating in specially-constructed pressurized chambers where he can temporarily take off his suit and survive.
In Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader's body — armor, mask, and all — was burned in a funeral pyre by Luke Skywalker, Luke's final act of honoring his father.
Vader's suit took care of most of his need, which also included food. The suit feed Vader nutrients, which gave him the energy he needed to continue throughout his days. He also consumed RepMed vita paste through a straw, which was located within the grills of his mask.
Master Yoda has risen above all others to claim the top spot as the most powerful Jedi of all time and the true chosen one according to IGN's audience. He won pretty handily as well, as he was victorious in 89,756 of his 95,243 battles and had a win percentage of 94.2%.
An implanted enunciator linked to an electronic voice processor enabled Vader's scorched vocal cords to produce speech. Around the part of the mask covered by the helmet was the external neural sensor array. Also hidden beneath his mask were four red heat dispersion vents, accented by yellow wire.

Kylo Ren's reforged helmet was strengthened through Sith alchemy. Sarrassian iron was painstakingly applied between the shards of the shattered helmet, creating a bright red alchemical web that resembled crimson lightning or scars.
During his Jedi training in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker has a vision of defeating Darth Vader by slicing his neck with a lightsaber — only to realize that the decapitated head in the helmet is his own.
In the three films of the original trilogy, Vader's mask and helmet were mildly uneven on either side, since they had been hand-sculpted without the aid of computerized tools.
9 Weak Against Electricity
Designed by Darth Sidious, the Sith Emperor ensured to monitor the suit's production process and incorporate his own sinister designs. Though Sidious included some essential life support elements to the suit, he also ensured it was weak against lightning.
It appeared that Darth Vader was more machine than we thought. His armor could be hacked and controlled by a device. In a turn of events, Darth Vader's right limb holding his dangerous scarlet lightsaber was moving of its own accord toward his neck. This was a dangerous weakness indeed.
Darth Vader's Insecurities are His Biggest Weaknesses
In the end, virtually all who have made the attempt to use Vader's cybernetic nature against him have ended up dead or defeated. The elite few who have had the upper hand, even before his conversion to mechanical monstrosity, have done so by dominating him mentally.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
Biography. Legend had it that Yoda—a Jedi who became Grand Master—was trained by N'Kata Del Gormo.

History. Bacta tanks already existed during the Clone Wars, when the Galactic Republic used them to treat its injured soldiers. A bacta tank was located in Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar, where the Dark Lord would relax and meditate outside of his life support armor with a modicum of comfort.

Perhaps the most famous Star Wars use of the Bacta Tank comes from Darth Vader, who relied heavily on the healing technology to treat the brutal wounds he received on Mustafar. Vader used bacta to continuously heal his destroyed body and maintain organ function.
Darth Vader lost his left arm and both legs when Obi-Wan Kenobi defeated him on Mustafar. After turning to the dark side of the Force, Skywalker severed Mace Windu's right hand to save Darth Sidious when Windu tried to kill the latter.
The short answer is yes, without a doubt, Vader regretted becoming a cybernetic monstrosity. First, there's the constant pain and discomfort from his suit. Worse, however, is the psychological pain. Vader destroyed everything he had ever known for a chance to save Padme.
As Anakin died, he simply sank to the floor. Later, Anakin appeared on Endor as a Force ghost, accompanied by the ghosts of Obi-Wan and Yoda. While Anakin's body isn't shown disappearing, canon and Legends sources both confirm that this did happen, albeit offscreen.
