As he explains, he has been tormented by nightmares of the monster and has been using his art to process the images. One of the images inadvertently came to life the previous evening, scratching Xavier's neck.
When Wednesday sat next to Xavier in the plant studies class, she discovered a beast's claw scratch in his neck. Xavier lied to her about it, saying that he got these marks during fencing.
But the Scarlet Witch quickly appears and snaps Xavier's neck, which also kills him in real life.
Xavier explains that this creature has been haunting his dreams for a while, so he sketched its likeness on paper. Unfortunately, the beast came to life, and its claws scratched Xavier's neck. The rag was utilized to stanch the bleeding.
The Hyde is the most dangerous thing in Jericho, and Xavier's visions are probably a warning to help solve the Hyde problem. Wednesday Was Never Romantically Interested In Xavier
Though Xavier obviously cared about Wednesday and tried to remain friends with her following the first accusations, there was no romantic connection between them.
Since then, they appear to have formed a friendship. Xavier seems to have a crush on Wednesday, although he never admits it to anyone, including himself, but he couldn't help feeling very jealous and angry after seeing her go to the school dance with Tyler.
Melody is Xavier's new love-interest and later girlfriend. He gets along very well with her and is always willing to go out on dates with her.

Wednesday's powers come in the form of psychic visions of the past and future. While she isn't able to conjure these visions on demand, she does experience them when touching an object that triggers her supernatural powers. Wednesday inherited these powers from her mother, Morticia Addams.
In a strange town near the Himalayas, Xavier encounters an alien calling himself Lucifer, the advance scout for an invasion by his race, and foils his plans. In retaliation, Lucifer drops a huge stone block on Xavier, crippling his legs.
To look innocent, Tyler scratches himself and transforms back into a human. Xavier shows up and he, Wednesday and Enid go back to Tyler's house to heal him.

Xavier decides to explain to Wednesday why he hates Tyler so much. It turns out that at last year's Outreach Day, Tyler and his friends assaulted Xavier and destroyed his mural. Wednesday confronts her date about this accusation, and he admits that it's the truth, but he regrets his actions.
Xavier has psychic visions like Wednesday, but they're more powerful, and they come to him in dreams, not by touching something. It is not fully explained, but his visions have some connection to his drawings, which are what spurred his paintings of the Hyde.

Wednesday decided that Tyler would be the perfect date to the Nevermore dance, even though she briefly talked about going to the dance with Xavier. Her kiss with Tyler is what brought their relationship to an end because it was at that moment that she caught a clear vision of him turning into Hyde.
Wednesday's First Kiss
At the end of the seventh episode of the series, Tyler and Wednesday finally have their first kiss. Everything seems perfect and Wednesday even smiles.
