When Jemmy holds the stone, it feels incredibly hot. It's so hot, it breaks in his hands. The stone is hot to the touch for Claire, Bree, and Roger, too.
Major events this episode: After discovering that Jemmy has the ability to time travel, Roger and Brianna decide it's time to go back to their own time. Jamie tells Brianna about her brother William.
Eventually, they discover that Jemmy hears the same buzzing noise they hear when near certain stones, meaning that he can travel, too.
Apparently, the stones realized that Brianna and Roger weren't ready to leave the 18th century just yet. They both said they'd wished to go "home" as the stones whisked them away, and that's exactly where they went: the place they now consider to be home, back with Jamie and Claire.
It's not totally confirmed, but Roger and Bree discuss how, when they touched the stone and thought of “home,” it wasn't the 20th century they held in their heads (and hearts) but rather Fraser's Ridge. This caused the stone to spit them back out in the same time they left.
In November 1774, Jemmy has lice and Jamie shaves the boy's head, revealing an unusual birthmark on his scalp that Claire says would be genetic. Roger shaves his head as well to show that he has a matching birthmark, confirming Jem's parentage.
Roger is a descendant of Geillis and Dougal's son. Roger has Geillis's green eyes and inherited her ability to pass through the stones.
Diana Gabaldon has confirmed there is no possibility that Jamie Fraser will time-travel into the future and live out his life at Lallybroch.
At its heart, Outlander is just a really long romance story, and all romances need a happy ending. Insofar as wombs are original homes, this installment in the series ends with Jamie and Claire coming home to each other.
By the end of book 6, Brianna and Roger, after the birth of their second child, decide to return to the future, taking Jemmy with them in order to escape the hardships of the 1770s; a storyline that would shake up Brianna and Roger's arc in the Outlander series for the first time since they came to the past in season 4 ...
For now, though, it appears both Fergus and Marsali aren't time travellers with actors Lyle and Domboy addressing this in an Instagram live Q&A from earlier this year.

“I curse you. I curse you with knowledge, Jack Randall. I give you the hour of your death. Jonathan Wolverton Randall, Born Sept 3rd, 1705, dies…” she whispers in his ear, and suddenly he knows that she's telling him the truth.
Because yes, Claire and Lord John end up married in book seven, and yes, they drunkenly (and full of grief for the loss of Jamie, whom they both love with all of their heart) consummate that marriage. And then Jamie shows up alive and well!
With regret, they report that they've lost Willie – to marriage. Claire is pleased to hear that Willie has married and moved to the colonies, and suggests that marriage wouldn't do any of them harm.
Later, after Claire has returned to the Ridge, she is confessor to Allan Christie, who explains that he was the one that fathered Malva's child, and then murdered her.
Fergus apparently knows Claire is a time traveler in Outlander. Diana Gabaldon mentions now and then on social media that Fergus knows Claire is a time traveler. This is something that happens off-book in the series. Fergus and Marsali have both learned the truth, which is important for later books.

Bree and Roger do eventually go back to their own time in the Outlander novels after Brianna gives birth to their daughter Mandy.
Jamie can't time travel in the world of Outlander
Jamie Fraser doesn't have the time-traveling gene. In the books, we find out that Brianna and Roger's daughter, Mandy, can see people as certain elements, and Jamie is water. Those she sees as water don't have the ability to time travel.
Stephen Bonnet is a major antagonist in the fourth season and the main antagonist of the fifth season of Outlander. He is a pirate, smuggler, murderer and all-round disreputable character, as well as the arch-enemy of Brianna Mackenzie.
William Buccleigh MacKenzie is the illegitimate son of Dougal MacKenzie and Geillis Duncan, and was raised by William John and Sarah MacKenzie.
Roger volunteers for this dangerous mission perhaps in large part to prove himself to Jamie Fraser, to prove to his father-in-law that he is fit to be a captain in the militia. Of course that all goes terribly wrong and he is “accidentally” hanged by Governor Tryon, after being mistaken for one of the Regulators.
